- fwalsh229Beverley, United Kingdom69 contributionsWe will be backThese room are fantastic. We had so much fun playing all 4 rooms here, most recently the Christmas room. I could mention so many different point across all 4 rooms but each room is so different and every room has something unique that I've never seen before. If you're looking for a longer room to play, here you have the choice of 3 rooms and one is 90 minutes. I don't think i could pick a favourite because i enjoyed them all. However I have only just played the Christmas room and it really is fabulous, it's very magical and was a massive hit with the children. We had Jess, Graham and Ben as hosts and they were all fabulous. Thank you. We look forward to coming backVisited April 2022Written 9 March 2023
- Michelle M10 contributionsVikings is amazing!!We have completed at least 50 Escape rooms and Vikings is the best game we have played both in terms of puzzles and construction. I don’t want to give anything away but it was completely immersive and continually surprising. We are from Scotland and are planning on a trip just to take part in the other games at this venue.Visited April 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 5 April 2023
- Caroline-LouiseStockport, United Kingdom77 contributionsGreat escape room in a lovely settingAs a group of 4 friends we love doing escape rooms and have done a handful in the Breakout rooms in Manchester & thought we'd try here as it was recommended to us. We did the Pirate ship room which was set at an hour and a half to break out. The time went so quickly and we did require a few helpful hints as we weren't sure on things or just got completely stuck 😄 We managed to break out with a few minutes spare! We will definitely be back to try the other rooms.Visited April 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 29 May 2023
- Emma TChorley, United Kingdom3 contributionsOne of the best escape room companies around!Just heading home after a brilliant afternoon spent at Extremescape! We did three of their four rooms having already done the Viking one a year or so ago, and had a ball. Their rooms are up there with the best escape rooms we’ve ever done - they put so much thought and imagination into them. The Christmas room was a personal favourite - even as big kids! Highly recommend for any escape room fans!Visited July 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 8 July 2023

Fantastic quality decor, quirky puzzles and great technology. So good we managed to squeeze in another room, The Lost Tomb which was another fantastic experience. Everyone had different favourites out the 2 rooms but both great in their own ways. Thanks again and we'll be back to do the Pirate ship next time 😄Visited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 7 August 2023

I've done a lot of escape rooms all over the country and none of them have come close to the experience I have had at Extreme Escape.
They have put so much effort into each rooms and there are sole amazing surprises that my friends and I did not see coming.
If you like escape rooms and want to experience the best, this is the place to go.

Today, we went back to Extremescape with two of our friends - there were four in our party today. Last time, there were just the two of us. This time we did The Lost Tomb and again, we had a fabulous time. Last time, we did The Pirate Ship and it was our first time doing an Escape Room.
The rooms themselves are really well decorated and themed with some fab props, which makes it feel like you are smack, bang in the middle of a high octane adventure!
I have to say the staff are brilliant - so patient and give you just the right amount of help so yes, you have to really work through the challenges and puzzles, but they are always there to help you and guide you and make sure that you are on track. We managed to escape the room again today. It is such a good laugh, in a beautiful country setting and I would heartily recommend. We are looking forward to going back to do The Viking in the future.

We went in Viking room, great room even had spears which my 18 year old thought was great.
My favourite part of the day was watching my son and daughter working together to escape. Room seemed to bring us together as a family.

What a fantastic couple of hours. We took part in the Viking escape room. It was so much fun. The puzzles where very engaging and the whole room was full of surprises. It was my first escape room and I thought the quality was awesome. I will definitely be going back to try the others out!

I am prone to getting a bit claustrophobic. I'm just a bit worried it will be very small and dark. Can I take my 'phone to light my way if it is too dark!

Hi, please don't worry our doors are not locked and our rooms are the biggest I have been in so far. The Pirates Ship is larger than a caravan and the Lost Tomb even bigger and certainly not dark. We don't allow phones to be used in the rooms, however we have excellent torches which are only given to you to help with the numbers on padlocks not because it is dark. We have had a few people with similar concerns and on exiting the rooms I have asked them how they felt and no-one has ever said they felt any level of claustrophobia. I hope this has answered your questions and thanks for your enquiry. Jess Wood.
