We went in June & the beach & views are spectacular. So many places to eat & drink & so much space for the kids. Maybe a walk over to Hilbre island to watch the wildlife including the seals.

A fantastic sandy beach, soft white sand, a walk to Hibre Island, next to a supermarket, ice creams, a Marine Lake and great views of Wales. All you need now is a hot summers day.

A fab place to take a walk, have a picnic or just sit on a bench and admire the views! The beach was clean, even by evening time. A very pleasant atmosphere...people strolling with there dogs, families crabbing and windsurfers surfing! There's a little ice...More

We visit here frequently. Always spotless with lots of local restaurants and Morrison's supermarket for supplies. Great boating lake for sailing adventure wind surfing. You can also walk to Hilbre Island just ensure you check the tides first.

Nice place to visit and walk along. Often walk there in all weather! Sand can seem 'dirty' at times. A lot of litter can be left sometimes which is a shame. But great views of hilbre island and over to Wales.

Very popular on a nice summers day. Everything you should need available. Morrisons cafe is a good bet for a cheap meal. Always something to watch

When the tide is out it leaves a huge sandy beach, great for walking, games, building sandcastles and sitting enjoying the views. You can walk right along the beach to sand dunes at the end of the beach.
