A biting wind and scudding clouds made our walk along the marine lake wall 'refreshing' to put it mildly! The views over to Wales were great and the evening light made for some great photos. It takes about 20 minutes to do the full circuit...More

First visit to west kirby, had a lovely walk round the lake, which a lot of other people were doing at the same time and can be enjoyed by all as it's flat and wide enough for groups of people, runners, walkers, wheelchair, prams etc....More

Okay to walk around but not much going on in the way of scenery or facilities. Parking awful and careful of the dog muck on the pavements. Not much movement on the Lake either.

The Marine Lake is perfectly located and the walkway provides easy walking for all age groups and an excellent viewing point for birdwatching. The changing tides and weather conditions, and excellent maintenance, ensure that one never tires of this beautiful place.

A lovely walk on a bright sunny day. Excellent.. Better when it's not very windy. Parking can be difficult to find so you are better off parking else where and then walking to the marina. Lake has lots of activities in summer months.

Come here often as live local. Always a nice place for a walk with great views of the estuary and North Wales. Plenty of places to sit and little cafe.

Fabulous walk around the marine lake at any time of year. There are so many local restaurants of excellent quality. The beach is great for a walk along to Hoylake past the golf club.
