I wasn't sure what to expect in view of the recent negative reviews. Nevertheless, with a rainy day forecasted and 5 children between the ages of 2 and 10 to entertain, our group (3 families) decided to give it a go. We were pleasantly surprised - the kids had a great time and there was enough to keep the adults... More

Our 2nd visit. There wasn't as much to see as when we visited 2 years previously; I suspect funding has been cut unfortunately. I think the cafe had shut down and the shop was very much reduced. However it was still a lot of fun and educational too. Best if combined with a ferry 'cross the Mersey.

Visited on a Sunday with two children under 7. Pretty expensive for what is there. The ground floor has some interesting exhibits but a lot of the interactive exhibits were not working. There is not a lot on the first floor and what was there didn't seem to relate to space with more general science exhibits (making a circuit, a... More

Wasn't that impressive to say the least no one there to give us a tour or even help out if we had any questions to ask and it was very expensive to say the least

'Spaceport?' Despite living in the NW we have never seen or heard about this place. Signage to the venue was hit & miss, but managed to find it using SatNav. Parking was easy. Overflow car park on other side of building. Parking - free. Walked in through the entrance where we were greeted by two members of staff. One fairly... More

Didn't quite know what to expect but the tour museum was brilliant. Wonderful for children. Next visit I will pay the extra to go on the ferry on the Mersey. The cine show was exilarating. Didn't expect the comfortable seats that were laid back to watch above. Well worth a visit.

With so much shown on TV about space history I guess all museums have a lot to live up to and need wow exhibits to justify their existence. Sadly Spaceport doesn't. The ferry trip to Liverpool we did after our very short visit entertained the kids much more and they probably learnt more history from what they saw.

I went to the space port with the kids, not worth the money at all. Kids were bored and so was I. There's a lot better attractions out there for similar prices. Never again
