Unforgettable experience in an unbelievable setting. We stayed at Dalhousie Castle for a night and saw that they offered this amazing experience. You are flying birds and practicing archery at a castle! Kylie is the bird trainer and also like their mom. She cares for the birds and builds a relationship with each, treating them like one of her own... More

Had a wonderful "Mixed Hour" with Georgie. The birds are beautiful. We loved hearing stories about their care and personalities. Flying both an owl and a hawk was so fun. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful experience, the birds are stunningly beautiful and well cared for, Kylie was our guide for the full experience and her knowledge was for-nominal, we learned so much from our trip. It was a real pleasure to watch her interact with the birds and they were so relaxed with her, a good sign that there is Mutual love... More

We had a lovely couple of hours enjoying our experience with the beautiful birds and our knowledgeable guide. We also added on a few rounds of archery because the day was so sunny. It rounded out our Castle visit in such a unique way! We were able to handle several birds of prey, and each was more fascinating than the... More

We booked the "ultimate experience" with these lovely birds as part of our trip to Edinburgh and were so glad that we did. It was amazing to have the birds fly on to your hand. Gareth, the young man caring for the birds was friendly, engaging and knowledgable. He did everything he could to make sure we got to do... More

It was an surprisingly lovely experience to be so close to so many birds of prey while taking a walk through the grounds of the Dalhousie Castle. Though the owner was busy caring for the birds, she took a long break to answer our questions and introduce us to her birds. Her clear passion for these magnificent creatures made it... More

Our party of 7, including my 3 girls ages 12, 10, and 10 did falconry lessons here on our last full day in Edinburgh. The staff was wonderful and very patient and knowledgeable, and we each were able to hold and fly a number of different birds. The castle and grounds are beautiful and such a wonderful back drop for... More

5 stars for Gareth our Falconer who helped our 9 year old daughter enjoy her falconry experience in the beautiful grounds of historic Dalhousie Castle. Gareth picked out the perfect birds for our daughter to fly and handle. A gorgeous Harris Hawk (Bojo), Eagle Owl (Flash) and a stunning Golden Eagle (Iman). Gareth was patient, knowledgeable and keen to ensure... More

My wife and I booked to do an hour's falconry on a whim as we were staying at Dalhousie Castle and it ended up being the highlight of our trip. The actual falconry site has a very large number of owls, hawks and eagles from all over the world, and Kylie and Jamie talked us through all of them and... More
