We stayed at the castle and got to see all the birds being fed and walked around the enclosures. There were eagles, hawks, kestrel, peregrine, various owls and other birds.

On leaving the hotel we spotted the falconry but sadly didn't have time to visit however there was a wide range of birds outside perched ready for action! Will defiantly check it out next time.

You have to experience the power and grace of the owls and falcons. Gareth was so welcoming and knowledgeable. My favourite was Flash who was very vocal and even cuddly.
