About
Alpaca Alpaca is a small family run alpaca farm set in 11 acres situated on the outskirts of the beautiful historic town of Yarm, where we aim to raise happy, healthy alpacas with outstanding genetics. We moved to our little small holding in 2014 where we started with 6 chickens and our dog Siren. Since then our family has grown and we now have 37 alpacas, 3 crazy sheep and Jerry the pig.

    Amazing Alpaca Experience
Brilliant visit to Alpaca Alpaca at Leven Valley! Went with my Husband for his birthday. All the staff were lovely and our guide, Martin, was fantastic, an absolute asset to the business. There wasn’t anything he didn’t know about the amazing alpacas they looked after. The animals were clearly very well cared for, happy creatures and the walk around the land was stunning. Plus great coffee from the coffee van at the end. Our group got to feed the female Alpacas at the end which was fab. Just an all round lovely experience, would definitely recommend!

    Amazing
What a amazing experience we had when the alpacas came to us for a visit, at our day service in Brotton. The alpacas and staff give us lots of information about them and the alpacas were so gentle with our clients and seemed to understand their needs. I would highly recommend Alpaca Alpaca to everyone.

    Definitely go alpaca trekking
This was an amazing experience Alpaca trekking in the Leven Valley, Yarm. Fantastic staff, so knowledgeable and friendly, made us so welcome from the minute we drove through the gates. There’s a excellent coffee van on site with locally made cookies and brownies, which we had before we set off. We walked the boys first, ours was called Sumo, who chatted most of the time along the way. We met the llamas, sheep and the rescue wild boar, who seemed very happy. We we lucky to be part of Alpaca Alpaca’s first wedding proposal - she said yes. Then we fed the girls and the crias (babies). There was a little quiz at the end to recap on all the facts Martin, one of the guides shared on route. My granddaughter loved the whole experience. , and of course a little hut full of alpaca goodies. We bought a soft toy and I had to have socks. My granddaughter loved it. Thanks @alpacaalpacayarm

    Lovely experience
Great experience with brilliant staff, gorgeous animals and lovely views. The walk was a good length but not too hilly or strenuous so you could really enjoy your time with the alpacas. The staff were very knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. We also got to feed the alpacas and there was a chance for a drink and snacks at the end. Would definitely go again.

Alpaca Alpaca is a hidden Gem!
Had a fabulous trip to Alpaca Alpaca today as part of a birthday present. The animals were very well looked after and seemed to enjoy their walk grazing on grass. My sister came as my guest which means we had one alpaca between us and this was great so we had the opportunity to take some fab photos. Martin delivered our tour and he was so passionate and full of knowledge. It’s clear the Alpacas loved him, and they were great when he takes photos of each group. After the walk we were able to feed the female alpacas carrots which is another fun experience in itself. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone, there was a range of young children, families and adults so it’s suitable for all. Visiting alpaca alpaca also helps them to be cared for all year round so it’s lovely to know we’re supporting a local business and these incredibly cute animals.

Alpaca Alpaca, not to be missed.
This place is amazing, not to be missed, we had a great afternoon and met most of the alpacas, the sheep, llamas, cats & a rescue pig. The tour was first class, how Martin, our guide, remembers all of the names & traits of over 40 alpacas is beyond belief, but he did. We even got to feed the alpacas which is a treat in itself, they are so funny and curious. We cannot wait to visit again, don't forget to visit the small shop & stock up on the items for sale, you wont be disappointed, Absolutely well worth a visit!! Jeff & Dorothy from Canada

Really great experience and alot of fun. Staff were excellent, very knowledgable but the real stars are the Alpacas themselves. My son who’s 11 walked “Lone Star” who was perfect for him, lots of opportunity for photos and a lovely walk by the river while being told all about these fantastic animals and then you get to feed them which was fun and possibly my sons favourite part.

After the feeding we had some drinks and an amazing tray bake from the little cafe van.

Overall a great day out and excellent value for money.

I had to chuckle as “Debbie” is mentioned a few times in the tour, I presumed she’s the owner but my son is convinced she’s an Alpaca, who knows!

I booked this as a Mothers' Day present for my wife and we did it on Easter Sunday as a family of 4. From start to finish we had the most amazing day. We walked the Alpacas through a field along the riverside. It wasn't far but it was a good opportunity to get used to the Alpacas and let the children stroke them when they were feeling relaxed. Afterwards we were offered a chance to feed young Alpacas which was fabulous. Finally, we had a quiz about the facts we had learned on the walk.

The Alpacas are beautiful animals and we loved every minute. Most of all, we loved the passion, knowledge and care the people working at the Alpaca farm showed for the animals. Our guides gave so much information and couldn't wait to show us all the awards the various animals had won at shows. Their enthusiasm was super infectious! We had a great time, all 4 of us, and we would definitely do it again. THANK YOU!!!

Amazing time today. Martin was fantastic and so knowledgeable with an obvious love for the animals. An expert at walking backwards and talking to everyone! Figaro was very chilled and a perfect walking partner! All the animals were obviously well cared for, and nice to see the llama too! Would recommend highly!

We had the best time here yesterday! Martin and his assistants were lovely - very friendly and knowledgeable! Getting to spend time up close with the alpacas was a wonderful, memorable and informative experience that I would like to repeat soon.

P.S. The alpaca wool socks I bought from the shop are very comfortable!

We had a wonderful corporate day out with the alpacas for our workplace Christmas party. The setting is beautiful, the alpacas are so lovely to spend time with. Debby and Martin were so welcoming. We had a walk along the river, each with an alpaca, followed by a feeding session and hot drinks for afterwards. Would highly recommend for an experience that will put a smile on everyone’s faces!

Absolutely loved my walk with the cheeky Marvin! It was such an amazing experience. The guide who took us around was so knowledgeable and so informative about the alpacas! He was so friendly and very lovely to talk to. We also fed the lady alpacas carrots and what a funny experience it was! At the end I bought a hot chocolate and was served by a lady called Debby, what a lovely lady and the hot chocolate was so nice!! ☺️
