About
Bled Golf Course is the oldest and the largest Slovenian golf course. Its origins date back to 1937 and many visitors claim it to be one of the most beautiful golf courses in Europe. The facility comprises the 18-hole King's Course and the 9-hole Lake Course. To make your round of golf even more varied, you may combine playing on both courses. The course is set apart by its unique location overlooked by the highest of the Slovenian Alps and the wonderful countryside embracing it. It attracts amateurs and professionals from all over the world. We are proud that the Bled Golf Course is the only Slovenian golf course on the Golf World Magazine list of Top 100 Golf Courses in Continental Europe in year 2017. We were ranked at 48th place.

Golf perfect, up to the highest standards in the industry and the 19th hole the worst ever ! Food made by amateur chef and priced as the Michelin stars restaurant. Really disapointing! Suggestion: take a beer on the beautifull terrace and go to eat elswere around.

We unfortunately had a very bad experience.. We came to the golf resort to have diner in the beautiful restaurant, the staff was very friendly and we decided to choose the menu from the chef. Unfortunately this was a bad decision, the food was just bad. I only liked one course, we tried to stay friendly because of the nice staff but this is not the quality you expect from a location like this, also because the photo’s on their Instagram and website look so good. For almost €200 we were disappointed by the food. Maybe they had a different chef then they usually have, because the food was not like they displayed online.

Something to remember, perish and visit again, a real Gem.

We had heard good things about this course but didn´t have time to play a full round of 18. We chose to play nine holes on the Lakes course and thoroughly enjoyed it. The views were spectacular and the holes were challenging. There is a great practice area. The carts have the latest gps technology. The clubhouse is very well designed with thoughtful amenities. The restaurant food was excellent and the staff were very friendly. The next time I am in Slovenia I will be sure to play The King`s course and enjoy the whole day.

This is a real golfing gem. A classy establishment and a decent test of golf. The 18-hole championship golf course was redesigned in 1972 by the renowned golf architect Donald Harradine. He had used the natural characteristics, trees and rolling land to great effect to produce a proper golfing oasis. The clubhouse is smart and there's nothing better than sinking a few cold beers on the terrace after a tough game on this beautiful parkland set-up.

Great athmosphere, super friendly staff, the course in great shape (after heavy rains on Sat morning!), breath taking views, "raj na zemlji" ... well, almost there ...
First time in Bled and super happy with our choice, as we booked a room in the King's Club house - if you are planning to golf when u r in Bled, this should be ur first option even for accomodation.
Food is good, decent prices, all in all a great golfing (and not only) weekend. We'll definitely go back

Great 18 hole mini-golf course. Apparently the largest in Europe. Very clean and well kept. Good price for lots of fun!

We played the Kings Course which is very nice and well maintained. No water hazards on the course but narrow fairways make the course difficult enough and it's a great sports experience. The best on the course is overlooking the surrounding Alps. The accommodation is fine also, rooms are big and nice.

Bled Golf & Country Club is the oldest course in Slovenia. The King's course dates back to 1937 and the Lake's course back to 1993. The King's course was the first golf course built in former Yugoslavia, originally established on the initiative of the Yugoslav Royal family.
It’s located some 30 km from the Slovenian capital Ljubljana close to the Austrian border. It’s one of the most beautiful courses I’ve played with its parkland design, wonderful mountain (the Alps) views and the scenic Bled Lake.

Hello there, can anyone tell me if this golf course is an easy bus ride or taxi ride from Grand Hotel Toplice in Lake Bled? My boyfriend would like to visit the course but we do not have car hire. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Hello George, I am visiting Lake Bled for the 2nd time. This time I am coming with my family, 2 small boys aged 3 and 5 years and my husband.
I usually do things independantly but after reading all of the lovely reviews about you, I wanted to ask about your services for next week. We arrive on Sunday and I'd like to take the boys to the caves....and anywhere else they may enjoy. My last trip was only a few days, so I packed as much as I could in.
What would you suggest? I might have a day or two by myself as my husband loves playing golf and he will try to play a couple of courses.
I look forward to hearing from you.
