Award-winning 3-acre garden surrounding an 18th century Manor House and Grade I listed 16th century Tithe Barn. Magnificent wide herbaceous borders with stunning plant and colour combinations, imaginative topiary including a knot garden, topiary walk and parterre, water features and a unique shade house. 18th century raised walk provides an enticing link to the Cotswold landscape. The unusual, rare and exotic make this garden a plantsman’s paradise! HHA/Christie’s ‘Garden of the Year’ 2006.'Small Visitor Attraction of the Year' Cotswolds Tourism Silver Award 2013

Well worth a visit. We enjoyed cake and coffee on the lawn before strolling around the gardens which were very well maintained. Lovely topiary and views across the countryside.

Very well maintained gardens in 3 acres. I particularly like the herbaceous borders which were outstanding at this time of year. Enjoyed coffee and cakes on the lawn near the tithe barn.

These gardens are beautifully planned and so well-kept. Looking at everything was truly inspirational. The lovely barn is also beautifully restored. The tea and cakes are a lovely way to end a visit to this special place.

There is good quality food - light meals and snacks - in the impressive and well maintained Tithe Barn. Prices modest to medium (somebody on this site complains that a pot of tea costs £2.20...where does he usually eat, the Salvation Army?!). £7 a head...More

Though not as large as some country house gardens, this one has outstanding beauty, varied, imaginative, tranquil, and lovingly maintained. The herbaceous borders are quite breathtaking, and the formal parts of the garden fascinating and colourful. The topiary is worth a visit in its own...More

I can't believe I have lived in the area for years and not visited this lovely garden. Perhaps because it is only open Tuesday to Friday. The house is private but you enter through a lovely barn into the gardens which are beautifully maintained. There...More
