I was diving today with my 13 year old daughter. Brilliant experience as the divemaster was really attentive and a great leader and guide.
Can really suggest them for beginners like me!!!

Everything is well organised for a wonderful diving experience. Diving from the traditional boats is a great experience with dive sites within minutes from the shore.
A great variety of things to see, both big and small made the diving experience very enjoyable.

I did a 3 days from thursday-sunday open water diving course.
The place is very chill, staff are friendly, and the instructors are professional and knowledgable.
I would definitely go and do diving trips with them and would definitely recommend to friends and family

We did our SSI Open Water diver license. Our guide David was great. We always felt very secure. He is a former lifeguard and could explain everything in a simple way. Moreover, he was very calm and always gave us a feeling of security and that nothing can happen.
Shortly about the process. The first day we watched a video in the morning and then David explained to us the equipment. The afternoon we already spent in the swimming pool and did our first dive. In the pool, we did different exercises and security procedures. The next two days we always did one dive in the morning and one in the afternoon. The dive sites, Blue Lagoon, The Wall, Tanjung Sari and Bias Tugal are very nice. As it was my first dive I was blown away by the underwater world. Cannot remember all the fishes we saw but a highlight was the turtles.
Can only recommend WaterWorxx to do your Open Water Diver.

Very good diving school and kindly people. We did the open water diver (owd). Nice team, good price and awesome spots underwater. We saw white tipped reef sharks, sepia, scorpionfish and alot of colored underwater things. Five stars for this!!!

We've had a wonderful experience with Water Worxx in Padangbai. We were somewhat excited since this was our first dive away from Holland. The crew knows how to make you feel comfortable and gives a helping hand wherever needed. The equipment we got from them was perfect. We've got to see so many beautiful things, even a turtle! We would recommend this diving school.

We were a little hesitant on booking a scuba course - me as I was concerned my health might be a barrier, and Cristina as she was a little unsure she would be confident enough (yet she's the stronger swimmer!). So we contacted 2 Scuba places in Padangbai when we were in Ubud (we were originally going to Gili Air, but the earthquake whilst we were in Borneo), and went with Waterworx for a number of reasons
1) They have an onsite doctor
2) If we didn't complete the course, we wouldn't be charged the full cost
3) They're Germans - so you know there will be no skimping on standards
4) They're pragmatic - we did the SSI course and not the PADI as they are virtually the same, but you don't pay for the course material with SSI
By luck also, they could squeeze us in on the dates we wanted (they were fully booked later that week)
We met Claudia the evening before - a wonderful lady - laid back, funny, pragmatic, but no messing when it comes to the Scuba. We shared a coffee, then a beer, chatted about the Scuba, and a whole bunch of things. We left, confident that we had made the right decision. I had a chat with the doctor based on my concerns, and again she was very sensible, asking me questions to make sure it wouldn't be a problem and I was cleared to start the course. She also provided a decongestant for Cristina which I later used, which was not only good for Scuba but worked brilliantly for aircraft. If only we had known about this earlier!!
Our instructor was David, who we later found out founded the company and is well known locally. The guy is amazing. Truly. Incredibly patient with us at all times, almost zen-like calm, but like Claudia, Peter and the other staff, a good sense of humour, great teaching manner, and he just oozes the fact that he knows the course and diving inside out, from the medical implications, the physics and everything else.
The whole place had a good vibe - friendly but efficient, always offering you a coffee or water, making sure you have everything you need. At the end of the first day, David told us calmly that he wasn't quite sure we would complete the course, but he gave us several options to consider. We chatted, and decided maybe another 1/2 day in the pool would help cement things, and somehow (given their full schedule of not just training, but also conducting diving trips) they managed to make it work. David went out with the other 2 trainees and Hanna, bless her, spent the morning with us in the pool going through the things we wanted to practice.
Most mornings there would be diving, both for those on the courses, and those who were visiting just for the Scuba. The place was a hive of efficiency. No one rushed around, it was just calm but organised, everyone doing a job. And the logistics is significant - given the need to check all the equipment, help the divers assemble it, get everyone kitted up with the right weights etc, and then get it to the boats. Sure, we know they've been doing it for years, and it's probably second nature to them, but it was still fun to watch German-precision 😊
During the dives in the ocean, there was a 1:2 ratio between instructors and pupils. You pair up as of course Scuba is always about diving with a buddy. David and Hanna were the epitome of relaxed but always checking you're ok. To be honest, so long as you don't get distracted by all the wonderful fish and scenery and concentrate initially on what you've learnt then under the instruction of David you should have no problems. He was always there magically to assist if there was a small problem, but you never felt the need to rush up to the surface, by then what they'd taught you was what you needed to follow and as long as you followed their example to stay calm and relaxed you would be fine.
We forgot to mention, most of the staff speak English and Indonesian, David, Claudia, Peter and Hanna of course speak German. We'd recommend them for any westerners visiting Bali to do scuba. Oh, and again, as testament to their patience and instruction, we completed all 4 dives and passed our exams. Will definitely go back to Waterworx to do some dives.
We truly can't thank them enough, we have a brand new world to explore thanks to their teaching and patience. Plus they're just a really nice bunch of people to hang out with.

My friend and I decided to do our SSI Open Water Course with, Waterworxx and we could not have been happier with our decision. Each and every staff member were incredibly nice, helpful and well-educated!
We felt very comfortable (there was even a doctor present) and enjoyed the whole program. They adapt the course and dives according to your interest and prior knowledge to find a suitable solution for everyone.
The equipment we had was almost unused and seemed to be of very high quality. We thank Peter, his wife Claudia and the whole team for this exceptional experience and would recommend it to everyone who is interested to dive in Padang Bay!

I am so happy I chose to dive with Water Worxx. Luckily I was recommended through a stranger I had met on my travels, and I took her recommendation to dive with them. The crew are fantastic, I felt totally safe and comfortable. My dive master was lovely and pointed out so many incredible sea creatures I'd never seen before! The highlight was watching a shark in a little cave for a good 5 mins up close! I have dived in some pretty cool places around the world, but Padang Bai was the best I've ever been for the quantity and variety of sea life. I absolutely plan to come back and dive with Water Worxx again, they are a very friendly and professional company and I was sad I only had one day with them.

I just love coming to Padang Bai and diving with Water Worx. After a sour experience with an English manager when diving in Lembeh, the difference was even more noticeable ! Water Worx is known as a German outfit, but I was blown away with how friendly the other guests are aswell as the staff. They seem to attract my type of people.
As a solo traveller, this is like a home from home now. Besides the expected high quality equipment and briefings, they also have my favourite Macgyver type character who we call MacDiver. He fixes absolutely everything and my next trip may involve bringing a few broken household appliances (baggage allowance allowing). His wife is the local Doctor who also looks after divers from all the dive shops. The other couple are some of the nicest people I have ever met and are like-minded when it comes to animal welfare. I was so happy to be able to help them with a street dog and her puppies.
Dive guides are enthusiastic and great for learner divers, but even better for photographers. They love the challenge of finding the most obscure critters and nudibranchs, or turtle and sharks...whatever rocks your boat.
I'm trying to find something that could be improved and the only thing I came up with, was that occasionally there are not enough chairs as the guests just love to hang out. Its a great place to make friends. I will be back next year for sure.

Claudia
