Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The coach tour I was on stopped at Aguimes on the way back from the Guayadeque Gorge. Unfortunately the Church of San Sebastian isn't open in the afternoons, but the historic town centre (16th century?) was very attractive and was full of statues, These ranged from a donkey, a camel, a pair of lovers, some cross dressers, a naked cellist and Canarian dogs.. The buildings were one or two stories with plastered walls which left many exposed stones. There was an attractive garden opposite the church with more statues.

We visited the museum to learn about the evolution of the village life and walked the cobbled streets. Lovely buildings well maintained with the main church as the great landmark

On our way to Barranco de Guayadeque we passed by this town. But on our way back we got out of the car to have a look around. There is a church San Sebastian to visit, if you'ld like. And all around this town there are statues, even of a camel.
