A few friends and I who all reside in Paris went down for a weekend to Chablis, attracted to its famous white wine vineyards. Among them William Fevre is one of the largest and owns quite a few vineyards. They have a range of wines from Grand Cru to Petit Chablis that are made from hand harvested grapes. The tour... More

We booked a tasting at William Fevre and our the lovely gentleman who was our guide, and spoke very good English was very informative, friendly and welcoming. We were shown around the winery and in the caves, he was happy to chat to us and answer all of our questions about the winemaking. A very in depth tour considering it... More

This stop gave us a good overview of the variety of tastes one gets from the same grapes grown is different locations. The guide spoke good English and showed a 3-D map of where the grapes for each tasting were grown.

A great visit and tour of the wine centre and the cellar. Our guide, Marion, was delightful lady who spoke good English and was very knowledgeable. It is a very professional outfit and the wines that we tasted were superb. We had lunch in their restaurant next door and had a delicious meal.

This is probably the best large producer in Chablis and one of the few you can do a tasting without an appointment. They consistently make some of the best chablis year in and year out. They provide a tasting through there range of wines for 10 euros, which is fair (they refund it if you buy wine). They even let... More

What a breath of fresh air-a tasting of a half dozen Wiiliam Fevre wines with a friendly explanation, complete with soil samples of the terroir and topographic vineyard map, and FREE! What a pleasant experience! I know and like Fevre wines, and this gave them a new dimension. I did the right thing and bought several half bottles to enjoy... More

...in an very old French chateau. All wines tasted here were of the Chablis varietal and were tasty indeed. The staff did an excellent tour in English and we enjoyed the best part...wine tasting at the end. The grounds are beautiful & worth the drive.

At least 7 euros for. premier cru more than the Wine Society. Seems to monopolise a lot of the town.
