This lovely, family owned winery and property is well worth a visit. We enjoyed a walk through the interesting wine museum and then a look at the winery itself, where grapes were in production for this year. The history of the vines, the family’s history with winemaking, and the property itself make for a lovely visit. To cap it all off we enjoyed a tasting with some tapas. Walking back down to our bus we passed by a menagerie of beautiful birds and sheep. Highly recommend a visit to this winery!

The guide really knew the history of the winery and the island. She was ready to answer questions, and it was a joy to listen to her.
The winery itself is easy to reach by bus from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, so it's the best option - they provide wine for tasting (2 glasses per person),so getting there by car is not the best idea (but anyway, they have some parking area).
Overall we liked the winery, and there we could buy one of 2000 bottles of red wine carefully produced during that year. The business is rather small, so it was a really rare bottle to get.
We enjoyed our visit there!

We had a great time during our private tour of the vineyard. Maria showed us round the pretty grounds (which includes animals) and this was followed by a wine tasting. Both the tour and tasting were excellent and Maria was a brilliant guide!

My partner and I had a private 90 minute tour of the vineyard and winery, including a wine tasting with a selection of complimentary local cheese. Our guide, Maria, was fantastic. She was very friendly and knowledgeable and told us a lot about not only the winery itself but also Gran Canaria’s culture, customs and traditions. At €10pp it was great value - we also bought two bottles of wine to take home with us, too.

We visited here on a cruise excursion. Got to taste two wines that they served with cheese made from a combination of cow, sheep and goat milk. It was all fantastic. The grounds are beautiful and the wine is delicious!

My husband and I had the most enjoyable visit to Bodega San Juan on January 19th. Cristina, the owner, is the 5th generation of wine growers at this bodega. Cristina’s husband guided us around and told us about the history in a very enthusiastic, personal and informative way. The museum gave an insight to the past history of wine making and we were told about the present methods of making organic wine as well as the plans of the future. It was interesting to see the photos from the past, where Cristina helped with the wine harvest.
The scenery is amazing and a visit to the nearby volcano is recommended. Back in Sweden we enjoyed their well tasting ecological wine very much.
Thanks to Cristina, husband and little daughter for a very welcoming visit.

The vineyard was very accessible by bus from Las Palmas. The weather can be changeable so dress accordingly, there was some showers on our visit but it was not a problem. Our guide, Maria, spoke good English and is was very welcoming and easy to understand. She also tells you about the history of the winery as well as all about plans for the future which makes for a very interesting time. The wine and food to finish is also very welcome and of a high quality. We would not hesitate in recommending people to visit this beautiful place.

Very nice small winery. Tour guide was friendly and spoke well about the history of the vineyard and wine making on Gran Canaria overall. Did a tasting of delicious local organic wine and bought one with us. Contacted via whatsapp and received a very fast reply. What a great experience! Recommend!

This hidden gem proved a highlight of our trip. The rich history of the family and area was well detailed by our tour guide Maria.
We particularly loved the calm ambience of the whole place and how intimate the tour felt.
Wine was amazing and the cheese exquisite.
Cannot recommend enough!
Maria went above and beyond to make this a great day out for all of us.

Hola!
