The Segesta temple, but especially the amphitheater are impressive, well preserved structures (even if the temple was never finished), in a stunning landscape. Well worth the trip. Parking and transport is well organized, for a small fee, and food and drinks are available on site....More

Popular since the times of the European "Grand Tour" , I cannot imagine anyone not being stricken by the sheer beauty of this site, as well as the stupendous valley covered in flowers and greenery in the month of May.

Parking 5€ (10€ for van / motorhomes). Includes navette to the ticket office. Entrance 6€ per adult. Temple a short walk. Suggest you catch 1.50€ bus to the amphitheater and walk the 20 minutes down the steep hill back to the navette. Very enjoyable, quiet...More

If you love ancient history you will defnitly love this place and everything around. wear conf shoes and be ready to walk a lok up and down the hills

Segesta is easy 45-60 min for main site then if you walk up and back to forum will take another 45 min but quicker if you take bus. We took local bus to Monreale, really only need 1-1.5 hrs to see cathedral and cloisters... More
