    Classic Dutch cheeses
We came here as a part of a tour, on our way to Edam. I'm a cheese freak, so it was great to see the farm and the factory. It was very much a commercial endeavor though; the guide raced through the information session about how cheese was made and shuffled us through the storage area. They were very focused on the sales aspect of it. Which was fine--Henri Willig is a big Dutch cheese franchise, and since they don't need to be refrigerated, I brought several back as gifts. But If you're more interested in the process part, you might be disappointed.

    Interesting and tasty!
Guide on how cheese is made was short but interesting, some lovely cheeses to sample in the shop. Came back with some delicious edam! Was amazing to see the farm at the back with the cows being milked by the high tech machine. Great trip out from Amsterdam :)

Although touristy, it’s fun to see an actual cheese farm and buy cheese directly from the manufacturer
We enjoyed our stop here as part of a tour we were on. Although it is clearly set up to cater to tourists, it’s fine because they give a cheese demonstration, and then an opportunity to buy a huge variety of cheeses. We also got to see the cows being milked in the back part of the property.

    Awesome cheeses
If you like Dutch cheese this is the place for you, they have a fantastic selection of cheeses which you can sample. I would recommend the Beer Cheese and Smoked Cheese which were both very tasty. Pretty well priced as well we got 3 cheeses and some dip for €42.

We came here as part of a tour to Edam. I was expecting to see the actual process of making the cheese, but instead we got a very rushed explanation of bits of the process and then hurried into the shop and tasting room. The talk lasted just over 5 mins. Very disappointing. The cheese shop had lots on offer and many samples. I felt it was all about the retail side of things and getting you to spend money.. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Clean store, great introduction into the making of cheese. Samples were everywhere in the store and so many flavours! Didn’t get the stable tour but that’s fine. Overall it was enjoyable.

OK, so I went here on a company event for a cheese tour and lunch. Sounded like it could be fun!

Well, it wasn't.

It started with a 5 minute tour of how cheese was made and a big point was how to use a cheese slicer (?!).

Afterwards we were escorted into the gift shop to buy stuff. I didn't buy anything and later I saw the same cheeses at the airport for half the price!

Anyway, afterwards lunch was served. Not much to say about that but when I asked for a glass of tap water the immediate response was "water is not included". WHAT?! It wasn't like any other drinks were offered, except coffee. Who drinks just coffee with lunch?!

So, whatever you do, avoid this place!

Our group of 20 visited Henri Willig Kaas. We enjoyed the presenters and we bought plenty of items made in Holland.

We visited here as part of our e-bike tour from Amsterdam (Amsterbike). As a group we had an explanation of how their cheese was made and then taken to the shop where there are many many flavours and types of cheese to sample - great!

We went there this morning, we listened to the explanation (exclusively in Dutch) and when we asked for some details in English they started making joke of us and went on speaking in Dutch and laughing. So rude. I really wouldn’t suggest this place.
