Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Large area of hills, beaches, and coastal scenery. There are several hiking paths around and over the hills or along the coast. You can even walk along a Roman road.
We visited in October, we were able to drive within 300 meters of the Playa Larga beach. There is little shade, the coastal trail was well marked. If you go west along the coastal trail you come to the Playa Negrete, which is popular with nudists. Access to the Playa Larga beach road is prohibited from 8pm to 9am.

Where do I start. We have a house close by in Roda and my husband wanted to take our 9 year old son swimming in the sea. We had a look online and found this park was a short drive away. In summer you drive to the car park and then there is a bus service which brings you down to the beach. This protects the surrounding area and keeps down traffic. The bus is every half hour and cost about €7.50 return for the 3 of us. You could decide to walk down to the strand but in the heat the air con on the coach was most welcome. The bus stop has a shaded area and two portacabin Wc. I also noticed they offer cone ashtrays which you can borrow and use while on the beach..
There was plenty of paths with different walks and mountains which you can climb if the beach isn't really your thing. The sun was lovely and the water safe for swimming. My son loved seeing the fish swimming beside them. There does not appear to be any cafe or shops so perhaps bring a picnic and plenty of water if you intend to wander any of the trails. We saw many people out running or using mountain bikes. We decided to walk back to the car park which is about a 4k walk slightly uphill but with many areas to explore on the way. We will definitely return as this park is a total gem and well worth a visit.

Breathtaking Regional Park of Murcia - unspoiled beaches, with dramatic backdrop of cliffs and mountains. We visit in pre- and post summer for quiet walks along the shoreline.

Plenty of hiking and nice cove beaches! November is very quiet and the water was still warm. Beware of mosquitos but with proper protection it is fine. We really enjoyed GR92!

A few years ago the cars could arrive at nearly every corner of the park, allowing the crowds to damage severely the habitat of endangered species. Now it has been regulated and it looks like it is recovering. We liked the birdwatching stations, the saltworks that are kept just to allow the recovery of a fish species, and finally the fossil dune. Allow for 2 - 3 hours to make a visit. The access is free

Lovely beaches using park and rude buses from the entrance in high season but easy and convenient. Best beaches and walking trails

It's a bit of a trek down a bumpy road but totally worth it. The beaches are just breathtaking, they are so beautiful. We spent a couple of afternoons here whilst in the area, swimming and sunbathing - lovely and well worth a visit.

You drive to the car park, where a coach takes you down to coast. They come every 20 mins. This is recent, because it's in a national park, and too many people were driving down, causing too much pollution.

Once there, you can choose between many bays and coves! The further you walk, the more privacy you have. We found a beach with just one other party there, and the water was crystal clear- perfect! Recommend bringing lots of water and ice box (there are no shops here, which is great, as it's protected) and lots of shade!!

What was lovely was this is clearly a local beach, so it felt truly Spanish and unspoilt. Highly recommend!

This is a wild and wonderful place to take a short stroll or a fairly strenuous walk. Either way you can full appreciate the beauty of the place which offers wonderful views of the Mediterranean. Paths take you across moorland like terrain with the perfume of wild herbs, and down to the beach where you can sit amongst the rocks and enjoy a picnic. There is a visitor centre which is most informative, if you can catch it open in the winter.

If you like hiking, this is one of the best places to go in winter. Due to weather in the area, outdoor activities are wonderful when it is cold in other places. The views are outstanding, the beaches are wonderful and the Mediterranean vegetation makes a different experience. Check the weather, never go if raining.
