Quiet break in a beautiful hotel
We recently spent a couple of days at this hotel after our holiday in Mojacar, and it was absolutely gorgeous and the setting was beautiful and peaceful. Javier, the reception gentleman went above and beyond with the service for us. The food at breakfast in the club house was excellent with plenty of choice. Our only disappointment was the beautiful main swimming pool was closed as it was the end of season. We would definitely stay here again.

    Great course, not very tricky
Shot 51 over, absolutely loved it. Cracking course, got a lot of steps in, lost a lot of balls. Great amenities on course. Only bad thing - vending machine had no wine gums.

    Disappointed
Very disappointed in our stay. The smell in our room was disgusting we left during the night. The only bar open was the Club House the men's toilet had terrible smell of urine. Hot buffet was cold. The best part was the view of the golf course. Expensive for what was on offer which was nothing apart from Club House. 91 euro the room 21 euro each for the buffet and drinks Expensive. Definitely not a 4 star experience.

    Quality development
This resort is on the way up. Lots of new developments such as new food offerings in the clubhouse. A new bar_restauarant due to open on the next month offering considerable food styles and new entertainment activities. It is and will more so be the place to go to and even buy the quality apartments and villa

    5 star accommodation and food
We visited mid June, it looked long and hot. The clubhouse is stunning with fabulous facilities. The outside terrace overlooks the golf course and makes a perfect place for drinks or meals, we thought!!. The lunchtime meal (Club sandwich) was very testy . Considering the lovely location and the meal prices you would have thought you would get better food. On PAM kitchen and Harvey Sunday roast , Would we go back,!

We were here for a group golf trip so we were always going to make the most of it either way, however the hotel itself laid down more than enough roadblocks to make sure we had to try our hardest to make sure the enjoyment was still there.

An almost complete lack of English speaking staff across the board made almost every interaction with staff hard enough as it was, add into the mix the fact that on top of that there were two women serving in the clubhouse, who it could be argued, we’re almost acting like they’d been told to be a complete b**** of a character from a TV show. Having been asked if there were menu’s on day one, one of them didn’t even raise her head from her phone and merely pointed across the room like the girl from the exorcist. Every time food or drinks were brought out, they did so with an active distain for everyone around them.

The food was as good as the service. A water machine pumped straight from the un drinkable water source the taps use, a beer pump that’s not been cleaned since Jesus was a young lad, coffee machine that just did whatever it wanted and often just tepid temperature food, and all, once again served by someone who probably has a ‘misery loves company’ tramp stamp.

The golf course, whilst slightly dry in areas wasn’t as bad as people are making out, yes there were some patches that needed work, but overall it was enjoyable and playable, but certainly with room to improve.

The saving grace of this resort is that nestled in the midst is a bar called Leo’s. It’s a smaller bar, run out of kiosks but it’s got more heart than the entire hotel and probably the closest 29 hotels combined. They completely saved our trip, as one of the features we missed of the resort was that once you are in, you aren’t getting out. The taxi’s must have met the staff before and thought, no chance I’m going back up there. We had several things planned in an evening in Murcia and we couldn’t get off the resort, and as usual the staff were zero help with that. With that being said Leo’s bar kept us going every night with amazing friendly service, food and drinks. So if you do end up here, I can’t suggest that enough.

Unfortunately, despite Golfbreaks telling up that they had recovered the fairways after they had lost them I can assure you they had not. The course was baron with bare lies everywhere. It is a shame as it did look as if in its glory it might have been a half-decent track.
DEFINITELY NOT worth a visit at the moment. This course should be closed.

This course should not be open it in discussing condition, there is no grass on any fairway, it is brown straw and looks terrible.
If you do really have to go there take old clubs as you will ruin your pride and joy if not.
The greens were good, that is the only high point, the staff? When they had finished there conversation with there palls they would look down there noses to speak to you.

The hotel was beautiful and a beautiful room , that’s the plus side.
The hotel pool was closed and the majority of staff just looked fed up. Our room wasn’t made up daily and the food was awful , everything appeared as though it had been out for a long time and was cold.
On our first night we went to the centre of the resort and it was mostly closed.
A large number of apartments are for sale throughout the resort but a lot of these areas looked very run down.
We checked out after 2 nights and the manager asked if everything was ok , on giving him our reasons for leaving he made no comment. Any one with walking difficulties will also find this hotel unsuitable.

When we entered first tee we got info that hole 6 was closed. We got very strong wind, sandstorm and a shower on first nine holes. Couple of times the wind was so strong that ball did not stay but pushed away. We asked get a voucher, but no way. Bad experience and will not go back. Not worth the money

Played this course twice in the last three weeks.
The course is very ordinary in its design with many holes the same.
Paid about €60 but wouldn’t pay any more.
They have a magnificent club house with lavish changing rooms. BUT - NO lights on in the showers NO hot water. NO soap in the shower and NO towels - when I asked why this was I was told it was because of Covid. Covid restrictions in golf clubs and other public facilities finished 2 years ago.
Pathetic attitude towards customer service

Played this course with a touring society along with Saurines & Menor Mar. The course was in a poor state, what grass there is was brown and rock hard, there are large areas on nearly every hole called wasteland which you had to play out of. This was rock hard, full of stones and marked your clubs from the stroke. Ditches were in bad state and one par 4 hole was taken out of play all together with no warning or reduction in fees. Just taped off and ground staff working on it and directing us to the next hole. Not a patch on Saurines and Menor Mar, which was lovely course in good condition.
