Visited Kaiteriteri for the first time during the week after Easter and surprised to discover this delightful beach settlement was still so busy. It is clearly popular with extensive local holiday homes in the area, a large well established camping ground and several bustling cafe-restaurants. The sand has a glorious golden colour and fine coarseness underfoot. The beach has a... More

The views, the boats, the sea, the sand, the water, the cafes and bars....beautiful location!!! We enjoyed a wine and lunch looking over the beack and went kayaking as well. Loved it.

Kaiteriteri Beach is an lovely little cove just 5 kilometers from the gateway to Abel Tasman National Park. Walking on the golden sand is quite an experience! And it's just across the road from the awesome Shoreline Café and Restaurant.

The beach is well supplied with cafes and facilities and has a lot of small boat traffic to make it interesting. It is a kick off point for a lot of tours along the coast. The stream that ran into the beach seemed to be popular as the water there was a lot warmer

What a stunning place! What a secret. Worth taking a bit of a detour to get here. The beach is amazing and the adventure trips on offer are well worth it. I took the kayaking trip and I was well impressed.

Such a relaxing beach with great vistas from any angle. A paddle around the bay is also recommended. The walk at the back of town to the hilltop is also worth doing.

I would recommend this beach for swimming since it has an inlet that would be good for those who are not confident with swimming... Te weather was amazing during Easter, got to wear my togs and swim for a while... But please spray insect repellant on your legs, I got bitten several times here and I'm now taking oral antibiotics... More

This place of the golden sands was a welcoming place after our travels this far, and before our continued travels. In the pictures it shows golden sands, and they are for real. We could not get over that! We are so happy we included this area in our tour of New Zealand.

This is a very pretty beach. The sand drops away very sharply so if you have littlies be on the watch cos the water gets very deep quickly. didn't stay at the campground, but it was in a great position. Plenty of car parking

This beach was a family favourite many years ago and this return trip did not disappoint. Stunning beach with swimming and water sports for all ages.
