About
We are a family run business offering a beautiful 3acre cottage garden bursting with colour from early spring to late Autumn. From Tulips in April, Apple blossom in May, Roses in June, Lavender, Poppies and Cornflowers in July, Dahlias during August and a stunning selection of grasses in September, the garden always has something to admire. The pond is a real delight and the stunning Lilies attract lots of dragonflies. We have a wonderful nursery full of healthy, well looked after plants to buy and in our Tearooms we pride ourselves in baking delicious homemade cakes and scones as well as providing light lunches. We welcome dogs in the garden areas but just ask that they are kept on a lead. Entrance fee for the garden but nursery and tearooms free

    Beautiful cream teas.
My wife and I try to visit here at least once a year for the gardens and lavender cream teas. It was in the past a lavender farm but now the place has been replaced with gardens, divided into different areas with new features including the waterfalls. Entrance is £6 which is OK. Book the cafe on arrival as it gets very busy inside and out. The Lavender infused scones are lush and I chose the lavender green tea. Expect to pay about £16 for cream tea for 2 There is a small garden centre to buy plants which are reasonably priced, but the sales assistants are a bit fussy, for God's sake don't move a plant somewhere else....lol or be on your own head. Overall a nice place to spend a few hours.

Beautiful gardens and excellent tea rooms
I visited the tearooms today and the staff in the tearooms were especially helpful. I’d booked in advance ( as there were 9 of us and I guessed it would be busy) ,and once we’d ordered, our food arrived quickly and was delicious. The staff were friendly and most attentive . Since I last visited, there have been many additions to the gardens - it is a pretty and relaxing place to wander through.

A delightful tearooms with the most delicious food and friendly efficient staff.
I ordered the pate which was just divine - warm fresh baguette with generous slices of delicious pate and chutney. The lavender shortbread was lovely too.
The little gift shop is great. The gardens are quite stunning even so late in the season.

Absolutely beautiful cottage style garden , so colourful even in September with the most vivid dahlia garden I’ve seen.

Really friendly staff, lovely cafe and only £4 entry to the gardens.

Great way to pass a few hours, highly recommended.

A Beautiful place as always, lovely staff good food and a stunning location. I’ve visited a few times in the past, this was my grandmother’s favourite place for me to take her. Every year it’s a fabulous place to remember her.

This was our first visit and it won’t be the last. The name suggests it’s mainly going to be lavender but that wasn’t the case, for me that was a positive. There were a wide variety of plants giving a beautiful display of colour. Lots of paths to meander though and seating to just sit back and enjoy.
There is also a tearoom offering excellent food, including some lavender flavoured treats.
For everyone who drives past this little gem on the A36, take time to stop and visit!
