Perfectly located on our route from Dorset to Oxford we don't always have time to drop in. Today we did and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Tea for two and a slice of Victoria Sponge, which melted in the mouth being perfectly baked, came in at just over £5 - brilliant value. We shall be back.

Called in on way to christchurch for breakfast. Lovely sunny morning so enjoyed sitting outside. Chickens of all shapes and sizes wandering around which was an enjoyable experience. Food was freshly cooked and served really quickly by friendly staff. Really enjoyed our visit which was terrific value for money. Proper coffee also which was a real bonus.

We always stop here on our cross-country journey between Oxfordshire and Dorset. They have nice tea, coffee and cakes, and the pies are brilliant. Good loos too if you're on a long drive as we always are. The real charm of this place is the fantastic free range rare breed birds you can enjoy while you have your drink and... More

The people were here were really friendly, it's a real working farm. We sat outside for a coffee and the kids loved seeing the chickens, the food was really good, we bought fresh bread, cheeses, pies and cakes for a picnic. Worth a bit of a detour.

Lovely selection of good food, and homemade cakes, and don't forget the ice cream. Do not have to wait too long served in a beautiful sunny open plan setting, or eat alfresco
