Even if you don't speak Spanish, take the time to listen to what Salvadorans tell you. Find someone who can translate for you. The stories will touch your heart. These people have been through so much and have so much wisdom to share.

If your Spanish is weak, you can hire a guide (likely to be an ex-guerrilla). Great material and plenty to think about.

Your guide will be a veteran of the FMLN. But you need a translator or to be able to understand Spanish.
