Lovely beach, although a little tricky to navigate the rocky patch just before you get onto the beach. Water very clear, and views across to New Quay were beautiful. Parking was crowded, but we did go on a very sunny day, so was to be expected.

An amazing holiday, didn’t want it to end!
Well what can we say that gives credit to this wonderful site with the most helpful and friendliest owners we have ever experienced. Facilities were spotless and our pitch was excellentF2. With 5 minutes walk to the beach and half hour walk to the beautiful New Quay (tide permitting) simply lovely. Even had a small tear when we left!

    Stunning dog friendly beach. 🐾
Wow, fabulous dog friendly beach and quite honestly stunning. We took our dog Tilly every day whilst we stayed in New Quay. Loved the easy clamber over the rocks back to New Quay , (check tides for this ). Highly recommend.

    Nice beach
We enjoyed a walk along this beach and back, it was calm and relaxing. We saw a couple of dog walkers and one family during our time there. The beach is Sandy so would be nice in warmer weather for kids to play.

This is the only beach I've ever had something stolen! Had a lovely walk along the water edge, returned the rocks we'd left our shoes on and they had gone... utterly disgusting. My poor daughter was devastated, they were her birthday present (disney crocs) I disnt realise they were valuable until I've just looked at replacing them, but really wouldn't expect anyone to steal shoes... let's hope they cause the scumbags lots of blisters

A brilliant - long - sandy beach just outside Newquay.
The drive in to park at (the small but free) Llanina Wood car park was a bit narrow at times but the car park is just a couple hundred yards walk along a small, wooded, stream from the access to the far end of the beach.
Had a lovely 2 hour walk with the dog along the whole length of the beach - and back again.
We even had time for a quick paddle in the icy Irish Sea !
A great beach for dog walking, kids, or just a sea-side stroll.

Hidden gem, just across the water from New Quay. Best to walk from New Quay as parking isn't very good. Beach is just beautiful.

Be warned : Car parking is a nightmare- However, if you are lucky enough to get a spot the walk down to the beach is lovely. The bay is stunning overlooking New Quay to the left - very long stretch of wide sandy beach. If the tide is out there are lots of rockpools where you can find crabs, shrimps and even baby cuttlefish.
There are no toilet facilities or any facilities! Kids will be peeing in the sea!

You have to be prepared to walk a wee way to this beach, which is probably why it is still nice and fairly quiet even in the season. Long stretch of sand. the tide comes right in so beware.

The beach is vast when you can get to it, other than a lengthy walk from New Quay, tide permitting. Sandy and quiet and clean, providing dog owners are considerate. And there are some rocks to clamber on too. You can park at the end of the lane opposite the Cambrian Hotel but directions are vague. The beach is so much quieter, cleaner and larger than New Quay. We will be returning.
