Alpe di Siusi
Mar 2021
It can only be defined simply in one word as divine. This is the most beautiful place I've ever been to. Period.

I was born in mountains and I've seen generally all types and sizes of them so technically they shouldn't surprise me but once I read the word 'Unesco World Heritage' and saw some pictures, I knew I had to go there. Even though I had already seen the pictures but still somehow it managed to pull my mouth wide open with wowww.

The whole Dolomite region is really God's country and this is cherry on top of the cake. You finally understand what Europe's highest alpine plateau really means once you step outside the cable car from Sankt Ulrich town and take a look around. God has truly blessed this region with heavenly beauty and thankfully the locals are also doing what they can to keep it clean and tidy.

XX ski in Alpe de suisi
Feb 2020
This place is heaven for XX skiers. Endless beautiful classic and skating tracks . 7 euros per day or a week ski pass of 35 euros . There was a moonlight race one night which one in our group entered and loved it.

Cross country skiing at Alpe di Siusi
Feb 2019
Well, it's a great area for cross country skiers. The trails from Malga provide stunning views to the Dolomites peaks. The famous Panorama trail is worth the effort. The short loop trails at Malga are also very nice. The whole area under the snow looks idyllic. The best part - most of people come there for alpine skiing so cross country trails are not crowded.

Fantastic region !
Oct 2019
We visited the north of Italy and we were based in Bolzano with daily trips around the Dolomites. Fantastic place, beautiful, organized, not that full. If you plan to ride the lifts up the peaks go before the end of September as most of them close after that date although there are some still operating until de end of October. Also, be prepared as Autumn is getting later and won't show up until beginning / mid November when the area turns from totally green to green/yellow/red... if you like photography this area is a must... Alpe de Siusi is probably the best spot of the Dolomites... check Lake Garda also (Riva del Garda and Malcesine), Lake Braies, Santa Magdalena...anywhere as almost everything is beautiful there... we were only sad with Lake Carezza as the lake was with the water level low and the trees around cut... absurd doing it with such a beautiful spot.

Truly tremendous location

Unbelievably beautiful. Great driving vacation. Go at shoulder season - sunny, still warmish, not herds of folks.

Amazing views and hikes up in the high meadow
Oct 2019
You can get up to the Alpe by gondola from Kastelruth. It is definitely worthwhile. Just make sure you go on a clear day. If there a low clouds or fog you may not see much

Great Hiking
Sep 2019
Had a wonderful day with new friends hiking in the Dolomites - the bus was easy to figure out, and the lift reasonably priced. Hiked over 10 miles and took some wonderful photographs.

Best place on earth
Aug 2019
It's not a UNESCO site for nothing. If you like Big nature and think that europe doesn't have it, think again. This is a paradise both in winter and summer. Every corner is instagrammable and the sports available are infinite. If you like italy but want to experience a place that doesn't fit the typical mold this is it!
