A lovely area that is well hidden and peaceful. Great place to walk the dog with stunning scenery and plenty of wildlife.

this new quarry has been opened up to the public. Devon wildlife have done a fantastic job of managing the site, good access by road or from the Tarka trail. constant improvements are being made to protect the local enviroment Refreshemnts available in the Bull...More

We visited here yesterday in the rain but it was great fun for all ages.The grandaughters cycled round whist we walked.Free huge parking,good all round Well done Devon wildlife trust

Interesting visit whilst cycling the Tarka Trail. Lots to see even in November. Liked the lakes, didn't like all the debris on the cycle path where they had been cutting the trees.

Wonderful wilderness experience around a former quarry that has been brought back to life by a local wildlife charity. You can do a great figure of eight walk around the place in about an hour, perfect for working up an appetite for the lovely local...More
