We stumbled across this place,and I'm glad we did it was really nice walking around the site and talking to the people that work here,everyone was so friendly and we could walk our dog round to which was great x

Visited the site with my 6yo daughter on 27 July which was a really wet day. I found it really informative and loved the wicker man! My daughter loved the barefoot walk through the woods (but in wellies!) and exploring the huts. The lovely guide...More

We had seen it on our way to our B and B and decide to have a look. Well worth it and better when cafe and activities are open. I assume tis must be during the summer months.

Great little place really interesting the kids did a scavenger hunt there's a bare foot trail, herb garden and the village we all enjoyed it.

The fort is worth visiting £5 per adult however the walk up from the visitors Center will be difficult for some. The route by car from the main road is single file traffic. There was building works at the fort so that detracted from the...More

If my memory serves me well I believe we did see some dogs on leads. We don't have a dog so not 100% but I think so. Call them or visit the website & they will be able to confirm.
