Nice water activites for youngsters

We stayed at bintan cabana and had a day tour to Nirwana. I think stay at Nirwana may be better option for youngsters cause there are quite fun things to enjoy here.

We stayed in a house together with friends over a weekend. There's extensive renovation going on which is quite needed. The standard is ok but with small means it could have been better. No decorations inside the house, bad picture on TV, wifi slow, gardens could have been looked after more. You get what you pay for.. What really drags... More

We went to have a lesson on windsurfing at the Nirwana Beach Club and was privileged to be taught by one of their long-time instructors Eric. Instructions are very clear, he gave us the basics in the shore first before stepping in into the waters. He was very attentive on how we were doing and gave us pointers for correction... More

We got a last room on the 3rd floor. Room had a smell. Bed is old. Bathroom is old too. Can be better. There is an elephant, horse and even montior lizard. The were small ans big monitor lizards. Restaurants run till late, saw lizards on their wooden tables. Very irky, sit on their white table and chairs. Their buffet... More

The beach sand is soft and clean, with shallow water, very enjoyable. I recommend to go to the beach in the morning when there are nobody in the beach and you can enjoy the whole beautiful beach, sky, water, fresh air. There are also lots of water sports available but some prices are a bit high.

Noticed that the Caucasian lady was given welcome drinks but not us. We've stayed here also 3 years ago so we know how it is like. Then the service crew even helped... More

ince then, the back-packer scene has largely given way to larger developments and other tourist destinations that have popped up along the east coast

We booked this resort as we wanted something family friendly - we have 4 young children. The initial room was disappointing so we upgraded to a suite which was great. The pool was great for kids, kids club staff were wonderful, and the facilities and activities were amazing. Elephant rides on beach, flying fox, archery...it even has it's own bowling... More

We did not stay in resort but used water sport facilities only. Restricted time activities. They charged extra if you are NOT staying in one of the resort. However, I feel they should also treat Tourist at par specially those who pay entry fee to the resort for the day. We used Parasailing and Banana ride They were good and... More
