Vrazje Lake
Vrazje Lake

About
Situated at an altitude of 1.411m, Vrazje (Devil’s) Lake looks almost unreal, especially in spring and summer. Vast green fields surround the Lake, which has a distinct dark blue water colour, which especially comes to the fore when watched from higher ground.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice lake, in a quite zone of the national park. We went there at 9 am and it was a big disappointment, it was just an ordinary dark blue lake. Latter in the same day we thought that maybe it was just the hour fthat we went there that wasn't gpod so we went back, at approximately 1 pm and it was a different place - a real impressive one. So if you go do that when the sun is high above and not low so you can see the real beauty of the lake. In addition, the road to the lake is amazing (and was fine for a private car).

We swang by the lake around 10-11 AM and were the only visitors at the time. The nature is beautiful, there was no one and nothing around. The scenery is almost surreal. We took a dip (the water was c-old though!) and rested on the banks, before continuing our roadtrip. We were "joined" by some shepherds on the other side of the lake, but that was it. When we were about to leave, people started coming, so I would recommend visiting this place earlier in the morning if you're out for some peace and quiet. And definitely bring a blanket, some coffee, a book, or even a yoga mat - it will be an unforgettable memory!

Although it is not impressive as a Black lake Vražje jezero (Devils lake) has a special peaceful surroundings and it is great as there are not so many tourist. You can swim in it but even that is not a must. Just enjoy the water and unreal nature around you.
Excess to the lake is easy as it is just near the local road and you can park on any side of the lake driving on the grass path.

It was disappointing. The environment is friendly and quiet and the water is clear and a beautiful colour. Anyhow, you have to walk for meters through very soft clay (almost to your knees) before you can swim. No places for jumping (important for our children 🙂).
No shadow.
Incomparable to the Black Lakes!
The things we like most were the sheeps alongside the lake and the mediaval monuments (stecci) nearby.

Beatiful! For swimming, sandy beach and just no to go in big depth. No shadow so sun may be strong. Take care of the nature and enjoy untouched earth. After, you may eat some domestic food in Zabljak or on place NEVDIO CANYNON as there is good and cheep restaurant there.

This lake looks like it is on another planet. When its sunny water reflects the sun and the colors are unreal

Lovely lake for a swim, soft bottom, shallow one end, deep in another & nice temperature.
Only downside not really any facilities. Anyone who starts renting paddle boards, selling ice cream or beer will make a lot of money!

The landscape is beautiful and romantic with horses running around. The water is crystal clear. It was not crowded at all, it was just our family. So we could enjoy.

If you want to explore Durmitor park, very worth driving and walking around! The Vrazje lake is very interesting, and you can enjoy the silence and beautiful colors of the water.

Impressive natural spectacle: water collects in a depression and forms a lake with no inflow. The water is so clear and pure and shimmers in the most intense shades of blue and green - magical!
