Obvious must-stop if you're driving past anyway and surprising amount of water during such a dry summer. Must be fantastic during snow-melt! There is a small souvenir shop right next to it and finding a car park can be a bit of an issue at...More

Latefossen is a monster of a water cascade, and it can be viewed up close from the parking area adjacent to the highway. I'm sure that you've seen or heard about spectacular waterfalls, but there is nothing like being "right there". Wikipedia has a nice...More

We enjoyed the drive from Bergen to Odda covering very many waterfalls, Fjords, Glacier views in a single day. Mesmerised with the natural beauty of the place at every single point. Recommend this to all nature lovers!

If you stay close to Odda, don't miss the chance to drive to the twin falls of Låtefossen. That was already a popular tourist attraction back in the 1800s, but we have another good reason to go there. You will get wet, and ditto for...More

The twin-waterfall Låtefossen is a majestic sight to behold. 2018 was a particularly dry summer, but even so it was enough water floating to make an impression. Best time to visit would be spring/early summer when the snow's melting on the mountain tops and the...More

The waterfall is quite spectacular, you can always feel the water in the air, but the pedestrian traffic is still problematic because of the absence of sidewalks and pedestrian crosses.
