Receptionist gave a brief tour without footwear... No lighting in the steam room. Pool roped off and with group of young noisy children being taught... Changing room could do with a costume spinner (surely these ought to be a minimum standard?!) The current TripAdvisor photos do not reflect the current standard ie: pool loungers/chairs did not have cushions, relaxing room... More

We have been here many times over the last few years. Usually a swim and coffee afterwards. Today we went with family for lunch, it took ages for someone to come and take our order. It was quiet, so no excuse really, and lots of staff on duty. A real pity because the food is nice in a lovely setting.... More

Yesterday my friend and I enjoyed another wonderful day at Long Ashes and can definitely recommend it. About six weeks ago we had the ultimate back massage on a spa day and both thought it was the most enjoyable massage we had ever had so promptly booked to go again before the offer finished! Yesterday was just as good and... More

Back in December, I treated my friend and myself to a Tranquilitea Spa Day. I hadn't seen my friend for over a year as she is working in the south of England. On the morning of the spa, we received a phone call to say they would have to change the timings of our treatments as they were one staff... More

Once again, I'm driven to write and congratulate Long Ashes Pure Spa, in particular to say thank you to the lovely Anna, who gave me the best, if not the absolute best, facial I've ever experienced. From the moment you arrive at Long Ashes and the Spa, all the stresses and strains of the day simply melt away. You are... More

I have just come back from a Spa day. We had the package deal, spa, 1 hour treatment and afternoon tea. The ultimate back massage was amazing. The afternoon tea was very well presented with a mixture of soup sandwiches side salad dessert and flap jack, all all an individual slate. I can't wait to see what March's package is... More

My husband and I went to the spa at Long Ashes on Monday. A day pass costs £10 which includes use of the gym, pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. We really enjoyed it and then had lunch in the cafe. We will definitely return.
