Your photograph is NOT the museum! There are always a couple of special exhibitions to complement the permanent exhibits. Entirely run by volunteers, this is well worth a visit.

It's a very beautiful building and the information and artefacts on display are quite interesting. However, there is very little to see.

We stayed in the Ancient House which adjoins the museum and found it very interesting to visit. The people there were very friendly and loved to share the history of this great village.

Although it is only a small museum it is interesting to understand the history of Clare. The building that it is in is beautiful and staff very friendly, If you have visited the church it is worth calling in here at same time.

This is a very interesting and deceitfully larger than it looks building. Pargetting is beautifully crisp, interesting objects inside and the building itself is a delight to visit. A must see when your in Clare next.

A very small museum with only 2 rooms. You don't want to be over 5 foot tall to entry this building otherwise you bang your head on the ceiling. Not much to hold a child or teenagers attention

Run by friendly volunteers I believe. A newly curated exhibition every year. Modest entry fee. Worth a visit, even if just to see the beautiful building close up.

A fascinating building, with sloping floors and doors, telling something of the history of Clare. This is a most remarkable building. Well worth a visit
