Didn't research the place, just saw it off the roundabout and thought that might be good. Walking up to it was concerning as it looks a bit strange, once we went in we realised what a great little place it was! Loads of animals and...More

Have visited a few times over the years but would not go back. The whole place looks tired and unkempt and a lack of investment clearly shows.Admission prices are expensive for what you get so all in all very disappointing.

Thank you so much Gareth, we try our best. As you can imagine trying to maintain a listed building is hard work, and trying to help rescue animals is hard work too, so we are sometimes a little rough around the edges; so thank you...More

Took my 2 grandchildren here during half term - they are frequent visitors and know their way around the site well. They took great delight in showing me all the animals and filling me in all about them - they even knew the names of...More

Lots to do for children, there's a pirate ship and other outdoor play equipment plus an indoor play area inside a fort if the weather turns bad. There's quite a lot of animals to see & interact with too

It was suggested to us to visit, we were a bit doubtful but this was a brilliant days entertainment. Firstly the building although looking quite drab is an iconic 1933 building with alot of history of its own. Once inside the range of unusual animals...More
