We have visited the museum a few times before but not for a while. We went this time with our young children they enjoyed it but did get bored quickly perhaps more for older children. What disappointed me was a quite a few displays either under construction or not working properly or at all. Just seems like it all needs... More

Amazing museum, good for teaching flight history, wwi and WWII history. Interactive for children, (some of the interactive games are not working) but generally very informative. It is suitable for ages 6+, but especially magnificent place to be for people interested in history, flight, planes, engines, combat fighters, history of WWII and WWI. It is a very good family outing.... More

I visited the museum for the first time while on holiday. It was a worth visit. It's has a lot of great aircraft on display and very interesting carrier experience. And big bonus if you like your military aircraft, there are 2 viewing areas to see helicopter activity of RNAS Yeovilton. The only downside is it's a little pricey for... More

Really loved it here. Lots of aircraft to see, helicopters landing on the runways and lots of buttons to push, what more could you ask for. The simulators are fun, although the helicopter ride to the Ark Royal was a little underwhelming. Staff are very informative and proud of their museum. We spent a good couple of hours wandering round... More

Visited the museum and was able to get a prompt response on using the bell to call a member of staff to open the wheelchair entrance gate for admittance. The staff were very friendly in advising the best viewing plan for wheelchair users. The majority of the museum was wheelchair friendly. The exhibits were very interesting, with plenty of information... More

Obviously you have to have a love of our countries history and a love of aircraft. Museum is dedicated to Naval aircraft, exhibits wonderfully displayed and explained. A great day out.

Great day out to see planes, experience an aircraft carrier and learn about WRENs. We had lunch in the Swordfish restaurant, easy to find and good parking next to the museum/restaurant. The full history of naval flying from pre ww1 airship and planes with letters from the Wright Bros, through WW2 and Korea etc. The planes / helicopters are larger... More
