The sanctuary is a bit run down from what I imagine was its former glory, but the animals are well kept. I think with some extra funding from the public it would be an even better place to visit. Perfect of your looking to adopt cats/rabbits

One thing that I liked in particular is the rooms for cats. They are pens with a chair or sofa in it. Cushions and covers around to make it more homely.

Great staff - really committed and caring, obviously love the animals. Really baffled by some of the negative reviews - just ignore them, the place is a farm (have these negative reviewers ever visited a farm? I ask myself) and as such I would rate it as a CLEAN and WELL MANAGED establishment!

Dropped some bedding off that was spare from a refurbishment job we were undertaking. Watching the staff and there commitment was well worth the visit. People need to support local independent charities like this

They looked so unhappy. The place is dirty and not one staff member to be seen. The horses kept in stable instead of being out. Its awful!!

We visited the Sanctuary today and had a wonderful time. It was my granddaughter's 2nd birthday, the staff were friendly and went out of their way to ensure she had a lovely time. She helped to feed sheep, goats and some of the ponies, and also saw ducks, hens, a goose, some cats, pigs and a dog. Admission is free... More
