Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

All Saints is a nice, small community church. They seem very welcoming and friendly. The church is located near the library. There was a very nice Father's Day service.

A beautiful church set back from road set in an old churchyard. Old wooden lynchgate. Inside church was very ancient but to a point seemed a bit inreverend due to builders having there tea break. One face of the exterior was covered in scaffolding and notices relating to lottery grant.

This church has lots of history and intrigue with original features. It looks like an old mini fort from afar!

Eastchurch Church is 14th Century (I think) it's a lovely building, surrounded by a well kept cemetery. It's my local church and the place I married in almost 45 years ago. My children were baptised there.

This is quite an old church which has some excellent stained glass windows and a marvellous roof. A highlight is the superb tomb complete with painted effigies on it, up be the altar. It felt very welcoming and we were able to wander around at our leisure.

The clock mechanism looks interesting but there was no way of getting up to that.

It would be nice to have had a guide to the church, even a simple one page leaflet would be useful. Perhaps the parishioners could think about that in due course.

If you are interested in England's historic churches this should be on your list to visit.

Don't leave without putting something in the alms box !
