My Mum and I wanted a nice tour of Invergordon and the surrounding area when our cruise ship visited the area. Unfortunately, we did not book the shore excursion. Fortunately, we ran into Nigel next to the buses and he took us on a four-hour tour of the region. It was wonderful! He let us take our time, shared many facts and anecdotes, all the while we travelled in comfort and could stop wherever we wanted. The region is stunningly beautiful and Nigel did a terrific job as its representative! We would highly recommend booking with him.

A splendid time with knowledgeable and experience guide, Thomas. The pleasure of getting a local guide is invaluable. Thomas made us feel special during our visit with fun narratives as we drove through the Invergordon.

We had Glen and Dianne on our tour they did a great job.
Dianne’s a great driver navigating the narrow roads.
Glen was an awesome guide. He knew a lot of information and was always happy to share. He was so knowledgeable about so many things. We also learned he loves sloths and Scotland.
Great tour when you’re on a limited time in port. We found this tour as soon as we walked off the boat. The tour was more than half the price excursions NCL offered. We saw lots of places along our way to Inverness.
Worth the time and good value

Nigel provided an excellent tour. He picked us up at the train station in inverness and drove us to the loch Ness cruise to Urquhart Castle. He helped us plan the trip and provided excellent suggestions. We did whiskey tasting and had a great meal before taking the train back to Edinburgh.

The best taxi driver ever with Nigel! We had a perfect day with beautiful views and places and a lot of informations around the area and the country. We really enjoyed the day with Nigel! We would really recommand this trip! Thank you so much! Henning and Christina

Excellent experience; made the Falconry demonstration at Dunrobin -very special and toured several villages, and a distillery. Had a great guide-Nigel Newell- who was most pleasant and informative. Customized the tour to suit our needs-lots of communication prior to tour which resulted in good use of time

Great shore excursion with Nigel! We visited Dunrobin Castle and the Clynelish Distillery as well as some other scenic spots. Was a great day and Nigel was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend his services.

Our tour with Nigel of 'Nigel's Private Tours' was amazing. He took us to Dunrobin Castle and there we watched a Falconry demonstration. The castle was in pristine condition and had the most beautiful gardens you will ever see. You can't get this as an excursion from your cruise line. I think we were the only ones on the ship that got to see Dunrobin. Nigel also took us for a tour of the highlands of Scotland outside of Invergorden. We had plenty of stops to take pictures of the beautiful countryside and bathroom breaks if we needed them. He is extremely knowledgeable about the area and very personable. If you have the opportunity to book this, don't hesitate to.

We had a wonderful day sightseeing in the Highlands with Nigel who was friendly, thoughtful and knowledgeable. Nigel went the extra mile and gave me a gift and cake for my birthday! Highly recommend Nigel, you will have a brilliant time!! Thank you for a lovely time Nigel.

Our day spent with Nigel was wonderful! We saw and did more than was humanly possible, but never felt rushed. Nigel was very knowledgeable and interesting. The day was well organized, as we didn't have to wait in lines for anything. We wanted a real pub lunch, which he arranged for us. You will not be disappoint!
