Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

From the carpark you go right sign posted waterfall. The trail is easy to follow and trainers were suitable. I class it as an Easy walk but not for wheelchair or crutches. I was hoping to get closer to the falls to dip my toes but once at the falls you have to take a single track/narrow path as it was wet and soggy it wasn’t for me. Nice views of the falls. Once at the brow of the hill after the falls, follow the sign left back to the carpark.

This was an unexpected treat, having booked into Lothlorien B&B not far away. The falls are a short (but at times, uphill) walk from the car park and for your effort you get a good view down to the falls, albeit they are some distance away. We were later told that there is another path via which you can access the bottom of the falls so that might be something I investigate during another visit. Whilst at the car park, take time to look through the viewing wall at the red squirrel feeding station as they are regular visitors!

We linked this with a walk through forest and was a pleasant couple of hours. Hit the waterfalls fairly early and some brave souls were vertically descending into the pools at bottom of waterfalls under supervision. No5 for me but they were enjoying.
Fairly simple walk that takes you back to car park in no more than 30 minutes but we headed upwards through the forest for a tougher climb. Way up lovely through pine forest and way back easier with great views of the Loch.
Finished at a red squirrel view point but they must have had big breakfasts and were nowhere to be seen on this occasion.
Very pleasant ramble and pleasantly quiet.

The walk goes up beside the Abhainn Righ gorge. Carpark is right next to a Red Squirrel viewing screen area which is level with the car park ie very easy access of only a few metres. We only saw the squirrels at around 6pm when there was no one else there. Dogs are certainly not going to attract squirrels!
If you just want to view the waterfall it is only about 15 a minute walk up. We chose to walk the whole way around in an anticlockwise direction for the best views. We walked on both the 'red' waterfall track and the 'green' 'Wade's Road' trail. The disused quarry was interesting and the colour of the rocks and their layers were eye catching. The paths through the lush, mossy green forests were cool and peaceful. The forest access road back was just a gravel road but it linked back to another nice green forest walk returning down to the carpark area.
Once again, we got this map 'Forestry Commission, Scotland, West Highlands' at the Visitors' Info centre in Fort William but we had to ask for one.
Do they not want people to go walking?

We were lucky enough to see the Inchree Waterfalls during a rainy spell when they were running full tilt. The walk to the viewing areas is quite lovely crossing over burns and through copses of trees and shrubs with the ubiquitous rhododenra everywhere. The path is well maintained, its gradient isn't overly taxing and there are lovely views over Loch Linnhe as well.

My partner is actually native from up here and this walk is something he has never done before. At the start of the walk there is a viewing point for red squirrels which was an absolute treat! I could have sat and watched them for hours! There is a couple of trails on offer however we took the shortest 'Falls' trail. The trail itself probably took about an hour taking in consideration time for admiring the stunning falls. There is 2 excellent viewing points for doing so. The walk is relatively easy and doesn't require much level of fitness however we went on a dry day and i felt it could be slippy if it had been rainy . I would definitely recommend if visiting the area!

Beautiful scenic walk up to the waterfall. The walk is hilly in places but not too strenuous and has multiple viewpoints of the waterfall, which is brilliant.

We really enjoyed our walk to the waterfall and around the forest. Loved the scenery and the falls were spectacular. Best place to go with hardly anyone about and social distancing is easy.
