Interesting area with views over Long Sutton Port, and the River Nene. You can sit and have a picnic, or watch the birds. You can watch the boats going back and forth up and down the River.

For the past 4 years after discovering this location I and my companion have spend quite a lot of days per month there. If you like ship-spotting, and by the many people whom visit, lots do. To get there, cross the Sutton Bridge swing bridge on the A17 on route to Kings Lynn and immediately turn left and run along... More

The room was... More

We visited here for an evening meal when staying nearby. We chose to eat in the quiet downstairs room rather than the busy bar, staff were very helpful and attentive and the food was good. Well cooked classics with some interesting specials.

The downstairs cellar bar is too dark and too small to cope with the loud music. Avoid there but the top bar is good as us the smoking area outside. Chip shop and Chinese takeaway next door so good for drunken hunger.
