    Try yourself before following reviews
I have again been to the Mill today with my mum, who loves the place. I find the Mill a great to visit, with plenty of good value clothing, household items and lots of free parking. Personally I would disagree with the bad reviews posted, and like I say, try yourself and make your own decision.

Many Toilets permanently locked and out of order
The masserella restaurant toilets need refurbishment. 5 were out of order and some don't flush. A disabled toilet is needed as the only one in the centre is on the ground floor. Masserella restaurant is on the 4th floor. Before lockdown the food in the masserella restaurant was lovely. Lasagne with roast potatoes was beautiful. Now poor food and a soup is nearly £7. But I wouldn't mind if the money was put into new toilets .

    Nice to visit
Love Batley mill. Plenty of free parking. Nice choice of cafes. Great furniture shop. Several clothing departments including klass and Edinburgh wooden mill and skopes. Clearance department is huge and decent discounts.

This was our first visit for some time, and we found that there had understandably been some changes, but many of the previous outlet names remain. We noticed that some areas were quite widely spaced and wondered if this was linked to similar pressures on high streets. The mill covers four floors. and provides plenty of choice. primarily across clothing, homewares and gifts, supplemented by cafes, a book shop and small garden centre. There is also plenty of parking.

Absolutely appalling service for such beautiful products. Loom loft was amazing but the service was terrible. No eye contact and no conversation. Too busy watching something on lap top. I felt like we were an inconvenience rather than a customer spending money. Some people would love to work in such a unique place.

Great place with loads of nice shops and friendly attentive staff. Your not allowed to try on the clothes as is the same with other stores. But if there are any issues they say you can return them without a problem. Will definitely go again and again better than the White Rose center.

Our friends brought us here. I was very pleasantly surprised by the range of goods on offer and there are some amazing bargains here if you look closely. We went to a very nice cafe and had a delicious lunch. We left with a number of items we had not intended to buy!

Extremely rude manager
Said she would get back to my email but she didn’t and was rude in her approach in the email. You can tell she’s from an estate

Hello Madam, Please could you clarify to which manager you refer? We have many shops and thus many managers working here. Also, I am not sure what you mean by 'she's from an estate' if you would care to explain? Thank you

I wondered The Mill Village in Batley today, picking up a beauiful cream and pink top from M and Co,no hello how are you !!The lady just took my money and went, felt like I was competing with the clothing that needed to be arranged on the stand !Having money left I decided to get some jewellery to match, I found a lovely discount braclet it took 15 mins on Alexera to find anyone to take my money, you could have put it in your pocket and walked out !!!! When I did find someone,I told her I had been waiting and there was nobody about, what did I get from this middle age assistant, she just looked at me down her nose and have me a dirty look,as if she was better than me and I was taking up too much of her time while she was filling her stock sheet. What did I want her to say was So sorry to keep you waiting !!! I was given my receipt and she went back to her sheets.I have worked in retail and keeping the customer happy is key to the job descript. So Mill Village let's try a little harder in future.

If you want cheap clothes maybe worth a trip but the place was cramped with all concessions running into one another also the place has a smell about it and to be honest couldn't wait to get out. Went in actually for a job interview but would not want to work there . May be ok if raining to shop in the dry but other than that there are plenty more places to go .
