Walking on shingle not the easiest thing to do especially on a hot day but it did us good but wear sensible shoes The views from the castle to the IOW and the Solent are wonderful on a sunny day.

It’s really peaceful here. Great views, great walk. Not so easy to park on a busy day but always worth going. Great crabbing opportunities here.

A long but pleasant walk leading to Hurst Castle and affording views of The Isle of Wight and sailing craft using the stretch of water.
