Such an amazing experience, with a wonderful teacher Tom!
We ended up having an archery slot all to ourselves and it meant we really got on a more personal level with our instructor who was patient, explained things well, hilarious and really made our experience wonderful.
The prices were very reasonable, the location was lush despite being a bit difficult to find, especially after not receiving a confirmation/waiver email with the directions. But me and my partner have vowed to go back and try more activities!

Such a good time here. I messed up my booking date and very kindly managed to accommodate us which was extremely kind of them.
Special thanks to Tim and Doug for sorting the archery and air shooting. Thoroughly recommended to everyone. We will definitely be going back (on the right day this time)!

We booked 3 mini tanks for my sons 9th birthday party. It was absolutely brilliant. We had 10 children, girls and boys and our 11 year old daughter as well as my husband and I taking part. We all really enjoyed it. Doug and Oliver really helped to make the experience fun for everyone. Highly recommend booking with leisure matters.

Fantastic few hours spent playing laser tag with a dozen or so 11year olds for my son’s birthday. The team there were so welcoming and entertaining and the laser tag kit is high quality. The venue is large with kids of room to hide and snipe from. The local pizza place delivers to the woods so all in all it is a great birthday adventure venue. Really excellent!

Great morning trying out new things with Tom and Doug. I was a bit nervous that it would be full of men and a bit macho…but it was so much fun. We had three couples in our session, plus two ladies and we all made great progress thanks to the very able and witty tuition of Tom and Doug. Some were good at shooting, others at throwing axes so it was good to see everyone improve with a bit of practice. Gets a bit chilly in the woods this time of year so dress up warm and wear sensible shoes. There’s loos on site and you can have a (free) copy of tea or coffee before/after. I’ve definitely got the bug so will give it a go again! Highly recommended.

So much fun... must be done.. we stopped to split up a long journey and thoroughly enjoyed the fresh air and fun times. Lovely gent walked through mini tanks engine and guided them through the course.

Fantastic morning at Leisure Matters at the weekend for my son’s 9th birthday outdoor laser party. Well-run, with a clear safety briefing, spacious under cover areas for parents to group at their designated table, where the kids come for a water break and after event food; spacious car park, friendly staff, free tea and coffee. The setting is great, on a large, private expanse of woodland dotted with camouflage platforms, blocks and other equipment for hiding behind. There’s a real sense of excitement as you see the children in their camouflage suits running around, working in teams from the comfort of your table. Yes, there’s no on-site cafe and just two portable loos but for me it was refreshing to find somewhere not overly commercialised with extra costs everywhere. Not many places offer you a free cup of tea or coffee anymore. I will be back either with my children to try the tanks or to try one of the adult events, such as archery and axe-throwing.

We have been here a few times now, always had a great time, archery axe throwing and air guns target shooting.
Recommend the Wednesday night social it's a great way to try them all.
Just one point, turning in to the carpark from the main road, go slowly it's a bit uneven.

Great fun with the mini tanks. Group of about 15 adults everyone got to drive at least twice in our 2 hr slot.
Plenty of covered space to shelter from rain.

As novices we had many questions and needed assistance setting up our sights. Doug was extremely helpful answering our queries and getting our scopes zero’d. We were soon enjoying target shooting with encouraging results. We also had the opportunity to try a PCP air rifle to compare to our springers. All in all a good relaxing, enjoyable and informative couple of hours.
