Holiday Art Courses & Art Classes art4you Scotland Studio is based in Killearn near Loch Lomond National Park and offers art classes for all levels. You can choose between day & evening art classes, weekend workshops, oil painting courses or drawing courses, watercolour classes, oil painting classes, portfolio classes, one-to-one sessions, life drawing or portrait drawing and painting holidays. Students can discover their artistic side or improve existing skills in a relaxed, creative atmosphere. Enjoy our art classes, weekend workshops & holiday art courses. The studio location is set in the fantastic Scottish landscape but only 30 minutes north of Glasgow or west of Stirling.

I have attended several workshops at art4you Scotland and the latest was excellent as always. Very well organised with interesting and stimulating instruction from an experienced tutor. The studio and materials provided are good quality enabling a very enjoyable absorbing day. A tasty lunch and friendly company topped it off. I would definitely recommend this art school to anyone looking to progress their art or just take time out to enjoy a creative day with like minded people.

Brilliant one day Acrylic Painting Workshop run by Ewen on 04.05.24
Highly recommend for anyone wanting to try their hand at this painting medium. Enjoyed the exercises and creating a painting in the afternoon.
The atmosphere was lovely and relaxed and Ewen was on hand to guide and support when needed.
Lunch in the garden centre on site was delicious too.
Great experience all round.

Super day trying to achieve something vaguely artistic with acrylic paint. Lorna was very helpful and supportive throughout. The whole experience was terrific and designed to build confidence. I guess it worked as on the way home we bought a few brushes and tubes of paint!
Would highly recommend art4you courses to others… have a go who knows what it might lead to!

I absolutely loved the printmaking workshop at Art4You! It was such a great experience - one of those rare moments where I could switch off from the busyness of life and just focus on creating. The whole process was really enjoyable and I left feeling inspired.
What made it even more special was the encouragement and personal attention from Jill and Claudia. Their genuine interest in my work gave me a lovely confidence boost, it meant a lot to have someone with their experience take the time to get to know me. I also appreciated the suggestions on how I could bring printmaking into my own classroom - I’m already thinking of ways to introduce it to the kids, I know they’re going to love experimenting with natural materials.
If you’re looking for a creative, welcoming, and inspiring workshop, I can’t recommend Art4You enough. I’ll definitely be back!

I attended 2 Saturday workshops. Acrylic animal portraits with Amanda and Watercolour and ink with Frances. The studio space is excellent as were both tutors and all the materials provided .l learnt so much and had a thoroughly enjoyable and absorbing time with friendly like minded people. Just what I needed to progress my art . I would highly recommend this art school whatever level you are at and I will certainly be signing up for more.

My daughter and I joined a watercolour and ink workshop day. Everything was provided to make the experience both fun and productive. Lunch at the adjacent garden centre and ample supplies of coffee and biscuits kept us going. Frances was inspiring and shared her work and examples from renowned artists in this medium. A good day out

This was a day of Acrylic painting and the tutor was Lorna Mackay who was excellent .
It was a fantastic day,which I thoroughly enjoyed. A full day spent painting.Lorna spent time explaining, demonstrating use of Acrylic paint.Also so encouraging and patient!.
The premises are so comfortable, and both Claudia and Lorna helped the group to relax and get full enjoyment from the experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Autumn flowers watercolour workshop with Jill recently. This is my second visit to art4you, and I really love the calm, supportive atmosphere and the beautiful physical environment. The day itself was well planned and structured, the sequence of activities made sense. The materials provided are personalised and really well organised, and seem to me to be of the highest quality, I found this very motivating. Lunch at the garden centre was great too. If I lived closer, I would definitely sign up for a regular class. Thank you to all at art4you.

A friend and I attended our first ever Lino printing class. A small group size of seven. Sally, our instructor, went over all of our equipment and explained the technique to us. Then we got down to it. Great fun, and very therapeutic as you are totally focused on the task at hand. I had found a couple of images online, which I fancied trying to recreate and Claudia was able to print them out for me.
Everyone’s results were amazing. So varied and in a range of beautiful colours. You don’t need to be particularly artistic either. And we have our Lino carvings and our prints to show family and friends. A great day out.

This was my introduction into the world of painting and drawing. The friendly and welcoming environment made the whole course experience fantastic. A professional and relaxed atmosphere with excellent guidance and help provided - but no pressure! Would thoroughly recommend.
