Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely centre, deceptively small but loads to see and read in a beautiful building. Staff really friendly and informative and great cup of coffee as well.

Great place to while away an hour or 2 on a slightly soggy day - lots of interesting information about the area as a whole and its RAF days

Thank you! We do get quite a lot of 'soggy days' in Pembrokeshire I'm afraid, but this Summer was wetter than most.

Arrived here with only 20 minutes to go, but spent a lovely time with the help of the staff recapturing something of my Dad's time here servicing his national service in the RAF on the Sunderland flying boats during the Korean war. Thanks to all. David.

This is a lovely place recording the history of the area operated by friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable people. A fantastic building housing a great exhibition. A must too for Star Wars fans. A great day out with something for everyone.

Recently in Pembrokeshire with disabled mother and brother. Rainy day, what to do? Found this museum on TripAdvisor and we were not disappointed. Friendly staff and small cafe. I enjoyed understanding how important this area was in history, Great slide show with old pictures of the area. Lots of emphasis on the flying boat WWII history with some great stories. There is a lot packed into a small space. It is a 'reading' experience which is more for perhaps older children and over. There was stuff for younger children, lots of models and things to see. There is a small display about the Millenia Falcon which was built locally. However Star Wars fans should not make it a pilgrimage, it is a minor part of the display.
With tea and cake spent just under 2 hours there.

Thank you for your review, it hardly ever rains in Pembrokeshire :-) but we are very much the type of place to come when it does!
We are careful to point out that we are just a small (but unusual) part of the Star Wars story and not an attraction, as some people had hoped.

We visited this morning and what a wonderful centre!! Absolutely packed with things to see and do. Our son (age 10) had a super time too, in the sim with dad (a pilot!), and also dressing up (our son, not daddy lol). Those running the place from the jolly man on the till to other volunteers were so welcoming and cheerful. Just a delight! We had tea and cake too in the cafe. We will return!

Great visit to a small but perfectly formed museum. Well worth the visit just to see the amazing work of the craftsmen from the area in building the Millennium Falcon. Then see all the shipbuilding and flying boat displays and models.

Unfortunately the centre was closed when we visited as there had been a break in the previous night, which left a mess everywhere. However, one of the staff very kindly walked round with us as we weren't able to return at a later date.
It was really informative and interesting, particularly on the military history: I'm still working my way through the numerous photos of the poster boards that I took to read later.
I hope everything is ok now.

Great military history. Very helpful and knowledgable staff. Good coffee! Highly recommend and there’s a small play area to occupy the grandkids for an hour.
