Great cafes nice little shops the new hotel is looking good, but the new bar at co co’s is bringing in a lot of noise on a Saturday night and a lot of drama with drunks screaming and shouting sometimes until midnight patches of vomit will be found in the morning dotted around the marina it’s having a very negative affect on the marina. Turns out coco’s is not such a nice place after all.

Lovely few hours wandering around the Marina - great shops and lovely restaurants.
Would definitely need to book a restaurant to guarantee a sitting
Plenty of parking - free of charge!

We enjoyed roaming around the Marina and just window shopping. Lots of places to eat and drink and sit and watch the world go by.

Most shops closed at 10.30am, lots of coffee shops, not so many shops- certainly not a days visit. Weeds all over growing along quayside & generally scruffy & neglected.
Given all the local hype & write ups I was expecting an upgrade from my last visit but very disappointed.

We really enjoyed walking around the marina with its lovely shops, galleries and restaurants /coffee shops.. We especially enjoyed Talouie's, sitting outside overlooking the marina on a sunny day with a really good coffee and food. Parking at the top end was FREE all day. You can watch the ferries and merchant shipping coming in and going out and nearby is a Bowling alley. We shopped for clothing and art work (from Pure Art) here and enjoyed the general ambience of the marina. Thoroughly recommend a visit if you're down this way!

Lots of closed units, looked very run down. Not a particularly picturesque area! If you're passing call in but dont go out of your way to visit!

Lovely area even on a cold windy day. There are lots of coffee shops and a few shops here to keep you busy. I imagine in the summer it’s very busy

I went fishing for the day on a boat.
I looked at google maps the data before and read free car parking.
Turned up at 0730 hours and it was still dark, did not read the signs and ended up with a hefty fine. If I had parked 10 m away it was free all day.

Booked a lovely apartment in the marina for the weekend. Have visited many times before. But now the council has decided to have restricted parking in certain areas of the marina. Not all area just the one we stopped in. Got to ask why? What’s the point? To catch unsuspecting tourists. Well you caught us and got your £60,,, but will not be back again, the marina can go where the sun doesn’t shine.
