I was lucky to watch three dolphins playing just off the sandy beach at high tide. They put on a marvellous show breaching in the sunshine. If you are not lucky enough to spot any dolphins there is still plenty to enjoy from lazing on the beach, taking a walk along the coastal path to bow fiddlers rock or just... More

Beautiful little harbour which provides a really safe place for young children to get in the water on canoes, inflatables or swimming. Definitely worth a visit - our kids have been twice - we've hired canoes from the local youngsters from the local sailing/canoe club - that's been a hi-light of our holiday for the children!

A nice place to come and relax by the seaside. I have seen many beaches across the world, so this was not special, but it is a nice place to visit if your in the area.

Spent a lovely afternoon in the sunshine walking along this lovely beach. One or two people in the water swimming or in boats. We walked along the old railway line across the Cullen viaduct and then cut down through the golf course and back along the sandy beach. There is a car park just beside the beach, but there are... Walked from Portknockie to Cullen on an absolutely stunning summers day! The walk is interesting and the beach is a delight to get to! Great for taking the dogs and big enough to not feel crowded.

This is a lovely clean beach and when the tide is out you can walk along the sands to the next village of Portknockie. It is safe for children to play on and have fun.

Great place to walk the dogs, or sit and watch the local bottle-nose dolphins playing. Generally very quiet, but fairly long stretch of beach with golf-course right beside it. Lots rocky areas too for added exploring. Easy walk from town-centre.

A nice beach with plenty sand and the odd seaweed. Public toilets at the Cullen end which is useful. A small fun fair under the old railway viaduct looked a bit run down. I certainly would entrust any of my kids to the operators.
