We were overwhelmed by the lake and it’s setting as it is completely undeveloped and natural. The boat ride takes you to unseen areas, however you have to be lucky to fit in with the sporadic timings of the captain. The town of Torre Del...More

We loved the idea that we were walking around Giacomo Puccini's favorite place. The lake, with mountains in the background, has a special atmosphere.

Lovely romantic place, great for romantic walks or for scenery photographers. We loved to have a picnic with a sunset towards the mountains.

This is a must stop for people who are into bird watching. If you have even twenty minutes to stop and check it out, I highly recommend it for nature lovers.

Place to visit, along with Lucca - the Maestro's native city - to enjoy a real Puccini's atmosphere.

What a nice view here. So calm and tender. Mountains are reflecting in the water... It was not holiday season when we were there, so it was peaceful. In July you can go to the Opera nearby the water. That is a real big event!...More
