Great for young children. Prices are less than those charged at Edinburgh. Some work going on which indicates that the animal areas are being extended - good if this is the case. Food outlet is a bit basic as is the toilets.More

Visited with kids aged 5 to 10 and all really enjoyed. Looked like it was going to be very busy as guided to overflow car park but no area of zoo felt crowded. All very clean and all animals/birds well cared for - possibly eagles...More

Babies have gone in with parents to feed the lemurs, but we always warn to watch out that they don't try to eat the food and as the lemurs can bounce or land on them, that they may get a fright. With others paying for the... More

Why doesn't the Zoo PR Manager take on board raptor Queen's review and act in a professional manner instead of accusing her of negativity? The Zoo is good but many areas need to be improved. Just be thankful that anyone takes the time to give their opinion.

We don't recommend taking young babies in to the lemur enclosure - the lemurs are friendly but can bounce and land on your knee, so it might frighten the baby. With older babies and toddlers, care needs to be taken that... More
