Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I visited this vineyard a few weeks ago. We were hosted by Nacho who gave us a warm welcome and he took us on a very knowledgeable wine tour. We also really enjoyed sitting in the garden drinking their beautiful malbecs - we loved one so much we ended up buying it so we could drink it when we got back to the UK. Well worth a visit

Lovely afternoon having lunch and then a tour of the winery. Our waitress was great, very polite and genuine, as well as excellent English which helps us with our terrible Spanish. Her colleague was also very helpful when my partner struggled with the heat. Food was fantastic, the pork bondiola was amazing and the wine was top class. Idyllic and relaxed setting too. Awesome!

A happy finding. We found it to be so warm in terms of how they make you feel, it is a small family bodega, but elegant and lovely. The setting was just perfect.

100% recommend this family winery experience. We visited today - it’s just a 5-minute walk from the Entre Cielos hotel where we are staying. The walk follows a grassy track through rows of vines. We were met at the gate by Rebecca with a big smile. She recommended that we taste three wines, tour the winery and enjoy a light lunch. All for 700 pesos. Perfect. We sat in the shade of olive trees and began with a cool Malbec rosé. Very pleasant. Next the winery tour and Rebecca let us taste the grapes - sweet but with a thick skin (needed for that rich colour). Next came the classic Malbec served with a delicious platter of cheeses, ham, olives, tomatoes, carrots, relish and bread. Superb. We met Georgio the owner and Olivio the dog - this is family not a big business. Finally we tried the lightly oaked Malbec. Perfect. This has been one of our best experiences in Argentina. Thank you Rebecca.

My husband and I visited Bodega Gieco as the first stop on our cycling wine tour. The couple who hosted us were very sweet and welcoming. If you’re looking for somewhere to relax for lunch and enjoy the natural surroundings, this is the perfect spot!

This is a nice setting for drinking three classes of wine (which is part of the 350 pesos ‘entry’), but don’t expect to learn much about the wine or the process of making wine. This place is more about wine drinking as opposed to wine tasting. Even though my friend asked not to drink wine (we arrived in the morning) he was still charged 350 pesos for a glass of grape juice.

Hello, thanks for your feedback. We are a small family winery, where the experience we offer is more "homemade" and not a standard speech. That's why we take the time to take you personally to the cellar and tell you about our history, where you can ask all that you want to know, and then go to the garden of our house where you can enjoy our wines. Thanks the same for your comment, it helps us to improve the experience we offer!

Visited with my girlfriend as part of a day's cycle around the area. The rental shop reccomended Bodega Gieco as a must see and we are so pleased we did.
Firstly it was the most beautiful winery we visited across our trip in Mendoza. Set slightly off the road and backed by the snow topped moutains, it was stunning.
We arrived to be greeted by the owner and father at the vineyard who was incredibly welcoming despite us not having made a reservation. He, and his beautiful dogs, introduced us to his daughter and invited us onto the grounds of their incredible homes.
We stupidly didn't bring cash to the winery expecting there to be a way to pay on card, however they still invited us in, let us try some of their amazing wine and even gave us food to eat in the beautiful garden. Two of the nicest people that we have met on our travels and we would reccomend this experience to anyone who gets the opportunity. Thank you from Rob & Lucie x

The family are so lovely and friendly. Unfortunately when we went it was raining so much but they helped us and offered tea to warm us up! The winery was still being built but we went to see and also saw the vineyards. The wine we tasted was delicious!

If you want boutique, and then a really boutique one, you must visit this one. A real hidden jam, just look for the two barrels along the street side.
A small vineyard with a good story to it. And don't forget, the wine is fabulous as well.
Tip for the winery: get yourself a nice sign on the street, then it's easier to find.

Just across the road from our hotel. A delightful little Bodega with just 16 hectares, and building their own wine making facility. Either just a tasting, or a tasting and lunch in their lovely garden. Nice organic unoaked very drinkable single vineyard fruity Malbecs and a very unusual single grape Petit Verdot. Lovely people, particularly Virginia, and not to forget Mora and Chile their pair of super friendly dogs that escort you round the vineyard and back to the house then after the tasting to the exit. Better than the super busy huge vineyard ‘estates’. Only been open a couple of months for tastings so go while it remains ‘undiscovered’. Wine making facility will be open later in the year.
