The tour was amazing. Such a beautiful place. The tasting was perfect and we walked out with a couple of good bottles to bring back home.

We had an amazing time there, and one of the best explanation We had from all the vineyards we visited about the process of making the wines by Luli. And one of the most tastiest “espumante” Maria we have ever tried, and very close to Dom Perignon .

My review is outdated in that our wedding reception at the Bodega Septima was in December of 2010. But you can't beat the location. You're at the base of the great Andes range and Aconcagua is visible in the distance. The building is 360 degrees surrounded by vineyards, and it's gated with security--necessary in Argentina. Our caterer was new at the time and the portions were small for the dinner and snacks later in the evening. Everything was contracted out--an outside vendor handles the restaurant, but the meal preparation is done on-site. I think the vendors change now and then. As to the wine, the malbec is second to none. We ordered one bottle for every two persons for dinner as a part of our package, and we went through one litre each. People couldn't stop drinking it. Septima wine is not available in the United States, and is shipped to Europe. It's a large venue, so it's perfect for a large gathering or wedding reception. If you stage an event, the staff there will coordinate and take care of everything. They have close ties to all the vendors you'd need. The event came off without a hitch--food, liquor bar, music, decorations, everything. I don't know what it would cost to rent the place for the night now, but at that time it cost US$1500, including staff. You can't go wrong.…

A great 4 course meal with great food and wines. Very fond of their Malbec Redwine, that was poured in our glasses several times

My partner and I did a bodega tour that included 4 wineries, this was one of them. We had lunch here and it was delicious, very generous portions and amazing wine to match! Would definitely go back if back in Mendoza! Also if you have the lunch then it is free for the tour!
