Worth the visit to read and consider how these lighthouses saved lives. Special treat to see the refurbished foghorn and consider how air mechanics can produce a sound that can be heard for tens of kilometres.

Picked a sunny winter morning for a drive to Low Head, and visit to the light house... very pretty, great views even when windy.

Perhaps the only Lighthouse that still sounds its Fog Horn. Every Sunday at noon the Horn sounds. If you are a light house buff or just enjoy a different experience you should visit on Sundays.

Sit on the seats at the base of the lighthouse and take in the views as long as you score a day that it’s not blowing a gale. The lighthouse keepers residence can be rented for a holiday.

already answered below.... it's well worth the trip out as you get up close and there are not as many tourists as Phillip Island
