Wend your way ever upward through the charming village to reach the gardens. the views over the river valley are exceptional and not to be missed. the garden is well laid out and easy to navigate. the planing reflects the arid conditions but there is much to fascinate. The location alone makes warrants a visit.

Wherever you park, you're going to have to climb to the cliff side gardens which hang from the rock face, but the ascent through the ancient streets with their twists and turns is al part of the experience. quite difficult to find, this garden is situated up a narrow roadway behind the main street of Roquebrun. Parking is limited so be prepared for a hard climb. The view across the valley is amazing once you get there and the garden is a work in progress (as are all good gardens) and full of unusual plants. Nice little giftshop... More

The Mediterranean Garden is found at the top of Roquebrun, on south-facing dolomitic terraces which capture heat during the day and keep the warmth through the night.
